Booming sounds of massive laser cannons firing up in the atmosphere went off. The sounds of countless civilians screaming and running for their lives surrounded everyone. Lasers and explosions went off, each killing more civilians that were unlucky enough to get in its path.
Smoke went up and covered the battlefield, and what emerged were humanoid monsters. They growled and were bloodthirsty. Everyone ran away hoping to escape their wrath. Just then a group of seven people in multi-colored armored suits jumped in and stood in front of the monsters with their weapons raised.
The seven warriors ran into battle slaying down the monsters. Bright flashes of light went off, lighting up the battlefield to the point of the fight being visible from a distance.
The Rangers fought with all their might but eventually they began to fall. One by one they were slayed by the overwhelming number of monsters.
After a ranger was taken down, a blur of green quickly swooped in to retrieve their crystals. And as the rest of his team fell in battle, the Green Ranger eventually had them all. He retreated from the battlefield and used his superhuman strength and stamina to quickly run over to a spaceship, which housed seven adolescents.
He opened the side of the ship and walked in. He made his way to the main controls of the ship and programmed in the commands for the auto-pilot. Once he was done he made his way back to the entrance of the ship, where the seven adolescents waited for him. "Father, where are you going?" <Translated from an unknown alien language>
The green ranger pulled out the multi-colored crystals. "I'm sorry Rita, but this is where my path ends, and yours begins."
The young girl began to cry and she hugged her dad. "Please, don't go!"
The green ranger cried under his helmet, he didn't want to leave his daughter, but if there was a chance for his homeworld to survive, then she would have to return to Earth without him. "Don't worry, stay strong, and protect the Earth."
The Green Ranger demorphed as he pulled out his Green Ranger crystal, and handed it to the little girl. "I promise I will come back, and save you dad."
The Green Ranger smiled at his daughter and put his hand on her cheek. "Don't worry, I will always be with you."
The Green Ranger got off the ship and closed the door. He stood there watching the ship fly back to Earth. He shed a few tears hoping that his daughter would do fine without him.
Suddenly he heard a growl, he turned around and saw the never-ending army of monsters ready to face off with him. He knew he was going to die, but he accepted his fate, as long as he fought until the end. He raised his fists and let out one last battle cry.
Rita looked out the ship's side window and watched as the planet became smaller and smaller. From this distance she could see the warships that were orbiting the planet. The canons on the warships aligned and took aim at the surface of the planet and fired, bombarding the whole thing. Within seconds almost half of the planet was covered in fire and destruction, and all Rita could do was watch as the homeworld of her family was destroyed beyond repair.
Present Day
The sun slowly faded out of view as it set behind the distant mountains. And what came in the sun's place was a decent amount of dark clouds. And given the fact that it was Spring, anyone would have guessed that tonight they were going to get another rainstorm.
On her way back home from school, Fuli decided to stop by a nearby Fast Food establishment on her way home. Once she was done ordering, she looked to the sky and took notice of the Rain clouds approaching. And given her dislike of water, she began to sprint home to avoid the rain hopefully.
