"My what?" They both say, both surprised and confused.
I look between the both of them, confused as well.
"Is he not your boyfriend?" I whisper to her.
She shakes her head. I let out a sigh of relief and begin laughing.
"Oh! Oh my god I thought- my bad." I say through my outburst of laughter.
"Hey, what's so funny?" He asks in a not-amused tone.
"Oh nothing," I turn to Jugyeong "let's just say I'm relieved."
She looks at me, even more confused than before.
"Why are you relieved?" She asks.
"Yeah, what's that supposed to mean?"
"Well, I mean, it's obvious she would never date you." I say, not noticing how rude I sounded.
His expression turns from offended to... hurt.
"Hey, Yusoi, he's still my friend." She said quietly.
I freeze. Friend?
"So... you do know him?"
"Yeah, he goes to my school."
I look away from her and back at him. His expression hasn't changed, he still looks hurt.
"Oh... uh, well, my bad?" I say awkwardly.
"Whatever." He says, turning to walk away.
He stops and turns back around.
"How do you two know each other?" He asks, pointing at the both of us.
"We went to the same school." I say.
His hand falls back to his side as he 'ah's'.
"Weird."
"Why?"
"I didn't think she would be friends with someone like you." He retorts.
-
"So, I'm guessing you two don't like each other." Jugyeong says as we step into my room; she closes the door behind her.
"Not one bit." I say, recalling the interactions I've had with him thus far.
"He's not as bad as he appears." She says as we both sit on my bed.
"Could have fooled me." I mumble, getting under my blanket. I sit forward, grabbing her chin. Her eyes become wide. I sit back, letting go of her face. "You really are good at makeup." I compliment.
"I told you I was."
"Yeah, but I was expecting maybe lip-gloss and mascara, not a full face."
She smiles.
"Does it really look that good?" She gushes, patting her face.
"Mhm, it does. Do you plan on studying makeup?"
She frowns.
"No, mom won't let me."
"Tragic. You would be really good in the profession."
She smiles warmly.
"Thank you for not freaking out when you saw me. Seojun almost caught me without it yesterday, that's why I was in a hurry to leave."
"So, if he's not your boyfriend, then that leaves the guy in the wheelchair."
"Yeah, Suho."
I probably shouldn't tell her I don't like him either.
"And you said he saw you without makeup?"
"Yup. He said I'm perfect with or without it." She says, blushing.
I smile softly. She must really like him.
"Well, I'm glad you're so happy."
She turns to look at me.
"Me too."

Jugyeong left a while ago, leaving me in my room. I open the box off food Gowoon's mom gave to me. I smile at the delicious smell it emits. I was about to eat it when my door opened, Jisoo walking in.
"We need to start doing night checks again-"
She stops when she sees the food I was about to eat. She sighs, walking over to me and taking the box.
"Hey!" I say trying to take it back, but she keeps it away.
"You need to go on a strict diet; your heart isn't getting any better."
I roll my eyes.
"Tell me something I don't know."
She sighs, closing the box and setting it down before doing some checks.
"If you're hungry, I can bring you a tray of food that is approved."
I cross my arms.
"I'll pass."
"Don't think I haven't noticed that you haven't eaten in two days."
She clicks her pen and grabs the box.
"I'll bring you some food in a few minutes." She says before leaving my room.
I roll over to my side, feeling tears leave my eyes. This time, I don't stop them.
-
I push the last bit of food around on my tray. I end up eating it, finally feeling satisfied. Wish I got to eat some of the food that Seo- Gowoon's mom made. I sigh and pick up my tray. I figure I'll leave it outside of my room, since they don't normally come and collect trays this late.
I open my door, setting the tray lightly on the ground. As I stand back up, I glance over at Seojun and Suho's room. I recall Seojun's expression from what I said earlier. I stand there, a bit confused, until I realize. He likes her, doesn't he.

The machine finally takes one of my bills, too bad the drink wasn't for me. I press for the flavor that I remember him getting. The machine disposes the drink and I retrieve it. I set it down on a table, grabbing the sticky note and pen I borrowed from the secretary. I write a short note, basically an apology, and put it on the lid of the drink. I walk back over to the secretary's desk and return the pen.
I make my way back to my hallway, passing my room, and stopping in front of Seojun's. I gently reach for the handle, quietly opening the door. I peak inside and see both of the boys sleeping. I let out a little bit of breath that I was apparently holding. I place the drink lightly onto the table next to the door. I take a peak at Seojun, seeing his peaceful sleeping face, before closing the door and making my way back to my own room.
