"0-2-6-7-9." I mumble to myself.

A checkmark appears on the screen of the keypad as the gates begin to squeak open. I walk through it, making my way up the long path to the front door. I reach the door and ring the doorbell. Nothing happens. I ring it again and the door slowly opens. I look up and see Hyun-woo. He glares at me.

"Go away." He says, closing the door.

I stand there, stunned. I chuckle to myself and scoff. I'm not leaving now. I press my fingertip on the keypad, putting in the code.

"You may enter the home." The automated voice says.

I smile to myself in satisfaction and open the door. My smile falls when I see the picture on the wall again. I slam the door shut behind me. I hear footsteps approaching me: Hyun-woo and Mi-rae.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Mi-rae yells. She walks up to me, getting close to my face. "You have no business being here." She says.

I smile.

"Where's your mom?" I simply ask.

She scoffs and backs away.

"Why do you need to know? Haven't you done enough already?" She exclaims.

I look at the both of them, oddly feeling pleased by their angered expressions.

"I'm just getting started." I say, making eye contact with Mi-rae.

"Yusoi?" Haeun says as she walks in.

"Mom, what is she doing here? Call the police!" Mi-rae says, turning to her.

She points her finger at me and stomps her feet.

"Mi-rae, what kind of phone do you have?" I ask her.

She looks at me and puts her hand down.

"What?" She asks.

"What phone do you have?" I repeat.

"A Samsung Note 20."

I smile and look at Haeun.

"I want one better than that."

-

I run my fingers lightly across the display of phones. I look at them in amazement. Not even my dad had a phone, we always had to stop at payphones to make calls. I see the Samsung Note 20.

"Do you see one you like?" Haeun asks, peering over my shoulder.

I turn and see a sales clerk.

"Excuse me." I call to them. He rushes over and bows. I bow back.

"What can I help you with?" He asks kindly.

"I want a phone that's better than this one." I say, pointing at the Samsung Note 20.

I turn back to him and smile.

"Oh, well, we have the newest Samsung." He says, walking over to another display.

Haeun and I follow him. I lightly gasp in amazement at the phone. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

"It's becoming quite popular, but it is more expensive than the other pho-"

"I'll take it." I say, excited.

He smiles and bows.

"I'll be right back." He says, walking to the back of the store.

Haeun brushes past me to look at the display.

"One thousand two hundred dollars?" She asks in shock.
