Seojun's POV

I extended my arms to catch Yusoi.

"Hey Yuosi! Yusoi, are you okay?" I yelled in panic.

I shook her body, but she wasn't moving. I looked at Suho, worried. He kneeled down next to me. He put his fingers to her pulse.

"Her heart is still beating, but it doesn't seem to be that well. Jugyeong told me about it; her heart isn't healthy." He says.

I groan and place one of her arms around my neck. I pick her up, people starting to stare. I couldn't think of what to do next. I looked at Yusoi in my arms.

"Move!" I yelled to those who were blocking me way.

I began to run, I knew I had to get her back to the hospital, and this seemed like the fastest option. I ran out of the school building and headed towards the entrance.

"Move out of my way!" I yelled, people looking and instantly clearing a path.

I was breathing heavy out of worry and panic. I made it out of the school and stopped, seeing an ambulance start to pull up. I run over to it, the doors opening and two paramedics taking Yusoi from my arms. I watch her as they put her on the gurney.

"What do you think you were doing?" I heard a lady yell.

She emerges from the passengers seat of the ambulance, wearing a nurses uniform. Yusoi was being pulled into the ambulance.

"I saw you running with her in your arms, practically shaking her like a ragdoll!" She yelled at me.

I couldn't care less about who she was or her yelling at me.

"Can I ride with her?" I ask the paramedic, my voice shaking.

"She's in critical condition." He says to the other paramedic, ignoring me.

I groan in frustration and try to push myself into the ambulance, they stop me.

"Are you a member of her family."

"Yes, I'm her cousin!" I lie.

The nurse looks at me weirdly, but I climb into the ambulance anyways.

"Make room." She says, also getting into the back.

One of the paramedics gets out in a hurry, closing the doors before he gets in the drivers seat and starts to drive away from the school. I look out of the small window and notice a crowd had formed by the entrance. I look back at Yusoi, trying to steady my breathing. I shakily take her hand in mine, watching the monitor of her heart rate.

"Are you the reason she left the hospital this morning?" The nurse asks, breaking the silence.

I look away from Yusoi.

"What? No." I say, trying to not engage in a conversation.

"Then why was she here? Some girl in your uniform came this morning to the hospital and left with her." She says sternly.

This time, I don't bother looking at her. I keep all of my focus on Yusoi. I watch as her chest gently moves up and down from the oxygen the paramedic was supplying her. I haven't felt this worried in a long time.

"Answer me!" The nurse screams.

I look back at her, surprised to see tears in her eyes.

"Hey, Jisoo, don't yell." The paramedic scolds.

"She came here to defend the girl you saw."

She looks at me weirdly, but then looks at Yusoi, taking her other hand.
