"Wow! This shirt is really cute!" Jugyeong says as she pulls a shirt from one of the shopping bags.

I smile.

"Of course it is; I have great taste." I boast.

She 'tsks' at me and goes back to admiring the shirt. Her smile falls as se slowly sets down the shirt. She turns to me, a look of concern on her face. I frown too.

"Don't feel bad." I say.

She pouts.

"Well, I can't help but feel bad! She treated you like a fool and she didn't even pay for your surgery!" She becomes angry. "You should have asked for more stuff! This isn't nearly the same expense as a new heart!"

I groan and snatch the shirt, shoving it back into the bag. Jugyeong becomes shocked. I shove the bag in a corner of the room.

"I don't need you telling me what a horrible person she is! I also don't need you reminding me how much she doesn't care about me!" I yell, a few tears streaming down my face.

Jugyeong stands and walks over to me.

"I-I never meant to make you feel bad, I'm sorry." She says quietly, taking one of my hands in hers.

I look down at it. I look away and wipe away my tears with my other hand, I smile.

"It's okay, I shouldn't have yelled. I'm sorry." I say to her.

She smiles back.

"It's okay. Just know I'm always here for you, okay?"

I nod my head and squeeze her hand.

"Okay."

-

"Do you think the outfit we picked out is alright?" I ask Jugyeong over the phone.

I walk up the stairs to Seojun's apartment.

"Yes, of course. You looked great when you left! Good luck on your first date! Tell me all about it when you get back, okay?"

"I will." I reply, removing the phone from my ear and snapping the phone shut.

I knock on the door, it opening shortly after by Seojun. He smiles when he sees me. I smile back.

"Ready?" He asks, putting on a pair of shoes.

I nod my head, my smile becoming bigger.

"Ready."

He stands up and smiles at me. He steps out, closing the door behind him and taking my hand. He looks me in my eyes.

"Okay, let's go." He says happily.

We walk out of the apartment building and he makes his way over to his motorcycle. I get excited. He looks over at me and smiles gently.

"You're not scared of riding it?" He asks, letting go of my hand to put on his helmet.

I shake my head.

"No. It was a lot of fun, I'm glad I get to go on it again."

He grabs the other helmet and puts it on me, buckling the strap. He chuckles at the sight of me and gets on. I get on behind him, tightly hugging his waist.

"We haven't even moved yet and you're already clinging onto me." He says in a cocky tone.

"Who's to say I'm not doing this because I want to be close to you?"

I hear him clear is throat before starting the bike. I smile to myself in satisfaction as we begin to drift away from his apartment building.
