now playing: be my mistake by the 1975

bakugou pressed the cup of coffee to his lips, letting the bitter liquid coat his throat. yuki's parents never came home the prior night; bakugou managed to check the house before making coffee in the comfort of an empty home. the early morning sky was grey, and it seemed to shift his mood. a few hours ago he was in complete bliss; his arms were twisted around yuki as she laid her head on his chest. an hour before that silly pet names fell past both of their lips.

"bakugou, should have known you'd already be awake," a husky voice chuckled from behind him. bakugou set his coffee down on the counter before turning away from the kitchen window. there stood kirishima rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. his hair was messy and falling into his face.

bakugou gave him a slight head nod before leaning up against the counter. "how's the hangover?"

kirishima shook his head lightly with a chuckle, "killer, but it's bearable."

"that's on you for drinking."

kirishima shrugged, grabbing himself a mug to pour some coffee into. "yeah, i know. not the worst past time for boys night. you should come next time."

bakugou nodded softly. "what all do you remember from last night?"

kirishima smirked and playfully nudged bakugou's shoulder, "i remember enough, daddy."

bakugou growled under his breath as his cheeks twisted pink. "don't call me that, shitty hair. seriously, you three need to quit it with that." he barked and pushed the laughing boy away. "i already said i don't like being called that. you're lucky enough i went through with the dare."

kirishima laughed as he shoved his hands into his sweatpants pockets. "well that may be true, but that doesn't hide the fact that you're blushing, bakugou."

"no, i'm not—"

"yes, you are!" kirishima pressed with an outstretched finger.

"no! its hot in here okay?"

"its literally raining outside!" kirishima pointed to the kitchen window. "you've even got the window cracked."

bakugou formed a tight line with his lips as he felt the back of his neck heat up. "im not blushing."

"yes, you are!" the two continued to bicker.

"not!"

"are too!"

"am not!"

"god!" kirishima chuckled and his hands stretched out. "why can't you just admit you like her?"

"because i don't know how!" bakugou exclaimed, soon catching what he had said. bakugou hung his head lowly with a sigh. "i have never felt this way before. not about anyone, anything, nothing has ever made me feel like this. okay?"

kirishima's smile dipped into a soft frown at his friend's stressed expression. his eyes soften from the joking glisten the were in a moment prior as he rushed to bakugou's side. "hey.... im sorry, i didn't mean to push you this hard."
