now playing; sex with a ghost by teddy hyde
"hey, mina?" kirishima asked the girl standing in the lunch line next to him. she twisted her head toward him, "have you seen yuki today?"mina reached out to grab a bowl of rice as she thought. she finally looked up at him and nodded, "she was in english," mina begun as she turned around with her tray of food. "didn't you see her?"
"she was?" kirishima questioned as the two walked to an empty table. mina nodded once more before settling down on the bench.
"yeah, she sat in the back though."
kirishima huffed out a sigh as he sat across from mina. he shoved some food into his mouth as he thought, though he couldn't think for long because soon kaminari sat down with a boy with black hair.
"what's up?" kaminari grinned, sliding next to mina. "this is sero hanta, i met him in home room today."
kirishima picked his head up from his tray to look at the raven hair boy. sero wore a bright smile as he sat next to kaminari. kirishima's eyes fell to the boy's elbows, which then clicked in kirishima's mind that this was the boy with the tape quirk. he had seen him perform a few times during their quirk assessment the day before hand.
"oh! you have the tape quirk right?" mina leaned forward to speak with him.
sero nodded bashfully at the sudden attention. "yeah, that's me."
"nice to meet you, sero. my name is kirishima eijiro," kirishima took a moment to swallow the food he had in his mouth and then pointed to the girl across from him. "and this is ashido mina."
"it's nice to meet all of you!" sero beamed softly, then shifted his eyes down to his food.
while the three friends focused on the meals in front of them, kirishima's attention was else where. his eyes jumped from table to table and scanned through the lunch line. there way no sign of yuki. lunch had started not too long ago, so the boy didn't worry too much on his missing friend. kirishima sighed and begun to eat his food once more. if he said he wasn't a bit curious on why yuki wasn't in home room, kirishima would be lying. it was only the second day of school, and it definitely wasn't in yuki's character to skip class unless it was necessary.
"oh!" mina pointed behind kirishima, a bright smile on her lips, "there she is."
kirishima quickly spun around to see what mina had been pointing at. at the end of mina's outstretched finger was yuki. she held a small tray in her hands tightly as she walked over to the table they all sat at. "see?" mina spoke up again, taking her hand out of the air, "told you she was here today."
kirishima playfully rolled his eyes before calling out for the girl. "yuki!" he saw the girl meet his gaze then start to walk a little quicker to them. though, she didn't sit down at the table. yuki stood swaying by the edge of the table in between kirishima and mina.
"hey guys," yuki mumbled back in a quiet tone. kirishima lightly jerked his head to the spot on the bench next to him.
"come on! sit down."
yuki sighed as her lips pulled into a frown, "i cant," she replied, tightening her grip on her lunch tray.
"what?" mina pouted her lip, giving yuki her best puppy dog eyes. "but its tradition."
