Unfaithful

Chapter 14

Meher was ecstatic. She just felt complete. She thought she'd been waiting for this day now. She knows Ayaan feels the same way for her. All this time, she was okay letting him go alone, but in the morning, when he said he loves her, she just can't stop her tears now.
At the breakfast table before Ayaan's flight, they were all having breakfast, and his mom couldn't stop admiring Meher, and Amina Bi came and said to his mom that now all you need is a grandchild and then all your wishes will come true, but his mom said
Rubina:: no, Amina!!! I'm pleased with what I got till now. I'm happy to have Meher as my daughter in law, and she already has a lot to take in. She just left the place she grew up, her parents, and everything, so I will not force her or Ayaan for anything. If they plan on having kids soon, of course, I'll be happy, but if they want to wait, I'll still be satisfied as long as it's their decision and both are happy
Amina:: khala Jaan, you are right, and Meher BiBi is still settling down, but I can't wait to see their kids how cute they will be.
A:: don't worry, Amina Bi, you won't have to wait long. We will fill up this house with a few soon....
Amina::: really?
M:: no, no Amina Bi, nothing like that.... but if it happens, we will be happy too...

Of course, Ayaan's parents couldn't be happier with the kids, and MeYaan was feeling the butterfly now. After breakfast, Ayaan was getting ready for the flight Meher came in, as soon as she came, he pinned her to the wall.
A:: so?
M:: what?
A:: so are we planning for a family?
M:: are we?
A:: if you want, then I've been ready from day one
M:: but you never said anything
A:: I just wanted you to settle down. I didn't want you to stress over everything. But if you think you are ready, then I think once I come back, we need to work hard on that project (he smirked)
M:: you don't have to work hard......
A:: but I want to, I want to make love to my wife day and night coz I can't have enough of you.

He kissed her, and in between kisses, he said, "I love you."
Ayaan loves talking while having her lips in his, and he said he would miss her, so needed to have some more of her before he leaves. She was hypnotized by him every time, and she couldn't say no to him. She was doing everything that he wanted her to do. Everything he did or said was perfect for her. He made love to her right there, standing not only that; he gave a giant size hickey saying, 'I don't want anyone looking at my wife. You are mine only.' She was happy to see his possessive side for her, and now she couldn't wait for him to come back.
After he left, she got busy with her in-laws. He reached the hill station and called her right away; the connection was terrible internet was slow, so he told her not to worry if she doesn't get through because he might not have internet while shooting coz they will be at the top of some mountain.
That day Meher went to the wedding with her in-laws and everyone couldn't stop praising her ofcourse Ayaan's mom was so proud even Meher felt that everyone has accepted her and she couldn't ask for more. Now she was already dreaming of extending her family. Next day Ayaan was busy shooting, they are doing some romance segment where the couple gets intimate. This is basically the beginning of the show and then they get separated and later they meet again at the same place and patch up. They still have some more days of shooting left which they will do in Mumbai. Meher didn't want to disturb him but she couldn't wait for him to call she was counting days.
On the 13th MeYaan was on the phone and Meher was in the Walima and Ayaan was pretending to be upset and said 'Yea you are always busy, you don't have time for me anyway go ahead call me when you get sometime'
Simi had no clue what the conversation was about she only heard Ayaan's side and wondered how his wife must be, why is he upset? Is he not happy or she doesn't give him time? She was assuming a lot of things, she also thought that his wife was born and brought up in America may be she is too westernized and doesn't care much about him. She was just making a picture of Meher according to her assumptions.
One more day of outdoor shooting and then they catch the early morning flight.
A:: hello Meher!!
M:: hi Jaan, how's it going? I can't wait for you to come back tomorrow
A:: me too baby!!! Can't wait to see you. How's Ammi Abbu?
M:: they are doing good, they are also waiting for you to come back. I'm so glad they came this feels like home wish they lived with us always.
A:: yea but they love New Delhi they'll never come
M:: yea I figured, but it's okay I understand as long as they are happy. I hope you are taking care of yourself and sleeping well
A:: I got so used to having you that I'm not able to sleep
M:: awww baby!!! I love you
A:: I love you too sweetie!! Anyway I gotta go you take care ok love you mmmuuuuaaahhh 😘
M:: love you too bye
Today they had to shoot the intimate scenes, in the beginning things were going fine but everytime Simi came close to him, he just felt different and then some of the dialogues just reminded them of their relationship when they were in love and then they had to do a love making scene. Of course the ott world is pretty bold nowadays and love making scenes had to look real. In the scenes the hero had to take off the heroines clothes and kiss her obviously they had to show how he was gliding his fingers all over her back then she had to be on top of him they had to show passionate kiss she had to be on top of him biting each other and after a certain point of time everything came very naturally to them and everything got real, he was kissing her with all his passion as well as she. He was touching her everywhere they were literally making out and suddenly when the director felt he got the perfect shot and said cut, they both realized that they weren't acting. When the Director said pack up Ayaan quietly went to his vanity not knowing how to feel right now. On the other hand Simi was thinking how did Ayaan loose control? Ayaan is so professional but why did he do this? She wondered if he still loved her and he is not happy with his marriage. Of course it took a while to reach the lodge from their location. Ayaan didn't even have dinner with the team rather had it in his room. Simi felt she should go talk to him and ask him what's happening in his life. As she was about to knock on the door she heard his voice as he was talking on the phone and he said 'okay I'm going to sleep I'm very tired I'll see you tomorrow he hung up and he put music on. Now she was wondering why did he lie he is going to sleep where as he is listening to music but she has no clue he was talking to his mom and his mom was saying go to sleep you have to wake up early for the flight. Simi thought he was talking to his wife, she was feeling sorry for him. She knocked on the door, he opened the door
A:: Simi? Everything okay?
S:: yea everything fine thought I'll come and talk to you for some time if you don't mind
A:: yea sure common in.
Ayaan was little awkward but then suddenly he said
A:: Simi I'm sorry for today, I lost control. I don't know what happened and it shouldn't have happened but I don't know we kept repeating those dialogues that we would say to each other and then having you close to me like that I don't know what happened. I really apologize I'm sorry.
S:: Ayaan you don't have to be sorry. You can talk to me Ayaan.
A:: there's nothing left to talk Simi, you left me and I'm married
S:: I know it's my fault I shouldn't have left like that
A::but you did, I just wanted some time but you didn't care about my love. You didn't even look back to see how I was doing
S:: Ayaan at that moment I felt it's better of I stay far from you coz that would be the best and with time we both will forget each other. But I didn't think it would be so difficult. I didn't think I will fail at forgetting you.
A:: all those months you didn't feel even once that you should come back?
S:: but you also got married
A:: yes I did... I waited for months then you never showed up then I heard you were dating your co star, family was pressuring me from a long time to get married then I felt you are not coming back and why to make my family upset, if I marry someone of their choice at least they will be happy. I wasn't even getting any younger so I didn't think much about it.
Simi do you realize I loved you from my heart and soul and may be that's why I lost control today.
S:: Ayaan I'm sorry I'm really really sorry, I didn't want to leave you and I never wanted to hurt you I just felt it was only better if we go separate ways rather than hurting each other more in the future. But I won't lie I could never forget you or stop loving you
A:: then why did you not come back, didn't I love you enough?
S:: you did Ayaan you did but I was scared (she starts crying)
As they were staying in a Lodge and they could hear some people coming up, Ayaan felt it was not right for Simi to be seen in his room at this time so he asked her to go back to her room. That night all three of them couldn't sleep, Meher couldn't wait to see her husband, Simi couldn't stop thinking of Ayaan now and what happened in the shooting and Ayaan was remembering his old days and then again he was thinking he is married so he was in a dilemma.
In the morning Simi and Ayaan didn't get a chance to talk and they boarded the flight and went home. Seeing Meher and her excitement Ayaan forgot everything and felt guilty.
They still had another four days shooting left and things did change between Simi and Ayaan. They were more than cordial now, they were laughing and talking exchanging glances and the shoot got over on the 22nd September. Ayaan's parents were still there so Meher wasn't feeling very lonely while he was shooting. She was happy because she has loving husband and wonderful in laws. Ayaan was busy dubbing next few days and his parents also stayed till end of the month. But in between his mother did complain about Ayaan being on the phone all the time and every time he said he was just doing some work or talking to producers and all that. Meher blindly trusted him because there was no reason to suspect him. After his parents left next day Simi texted him
"Hey are you busy in the evening? Haven't seen you after the shooting ended. Can we meet for coffee in the evening"
Ayaan "Sure I'll pick you up at 7"
A:: Meher Meher!!
M:: yes baby!! I'm here making your tea
A:: no just wanted to let you know I need to go for a narration in the evening so I'll be late. Just have your dinner and don't stay empty stomach for me please. Amina Bi please make sure she eats on time
Amina:: okay Ayaan baba don't worry I'll take care of her.
Ayaan leaves for work and then picks up Simi around seven they go to this high end coffee shop where they used to hang out before.
They were just having a good time and suddenly Simi asked
S:: I just signed a music video yesterday remember I was talking about it
A:: oh yes great!!
S:: I was thinking if you would like to do it with me as they haven't finalized the male lead. I mean it's two days outdoor shooting mid of next month that's it.
A:: if you are doing it must be a good project
She gives details to him and he likes the idea and everything.
A:: if you are doing it then yea why not
S:: okay great let me just text them, so they can call you. I'm going to tell them I discussed it with you and it's up to them to convince you.
A:: okay sounds good.
After they chatted had some sandwich that they would often eat and after some time Ayaan drives Simi home
S:: you won't come in?
A:: do you want me to?
S:: I would love for you to come in
A:: I'm getting late but I'll come for few min
They go in and Simi asks if he would like to drink something and he said he has to go home and doesn't want a fight.
S:: why didn't you tell your wife you were meeting me?
A:: actually no.... I lied to her. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it
S:: why big deal? Can you not meet your friends?
A:: friends ofcourse but she knows about you and me and I don't know what to tell her. I don't think any wife would want their husband to meet their ex girlfriend on a coffee date
S:: I'm so sorry Ayaan you had to lie to your wife because of me. But why did you lie to her?
A:: because I wanted to see you talk to you spend time with you
S:: why?
A:: because it was not me who left
Simi just felt a sharp pain, she knew she left him and according to her assumption he got stuck in a relationship because of family and she believes he still loves her. She touches his cheek with her palm
S:: Ayaan I'm sorry
As she says that they have an eye lock and in no time they have a lip lock. May be it was the heat of the moment or old flame or love but something happened and they couldn't stop themselves. Till Ayaan's phone rang in his pocket that broke the kiss and it was Meher. He picked up the phone.
M:: hello!! Ayaan, sorry I called but it was getting late and you didn't even text or call so I was just wondering.
A:: Meher I was busy I was doing some work I can't keep texting you in the middle of a meeting. Fine I'll be there in few minutes
(Meher was shocked to hear Ayaan talk so rudely, this has never happened before. On this side Simi is still getting wrong ideas about Meher and feeling Ayaan is not happy and she is blaming herself for his condition. Ayaan leaves and he reached home around 11:30. When he came Meher didn't say anything or ask him anything. She was upset because Ayaan was rude to her for no good reason and Ayaan wasn't talking because he knew he was wrong for not only being rude but he kissed Simi in his senses, he lied to her. He knew he did way too many mistakes and it's not fair to Meher. He just went to get changed and came out and saw Meher in bed facing the other way around. Now she is hurt that he didn't even talk, as she didn't do a crime she only called because it was getting late she was worried. He just went to bed and didn't even go close to her and after sometime they both fell asleep. Ayaan woke up early in the morning and he felt whatever he did was wrong and he lied to Meher, he cheated on her and he should be sorry for it.)
