Chapter 10

At last time has come, Meher and her family reached India, Mumbai. It was Sunday morning the flight landed and ofcourse our Hero Ayaan was waiting to receive them. When they reached Ayaan greeted everyone hugged them and when Meher came in front of him they both froze they didn't know whether to hug or shake hands, feeling little awkward Ayaan said 'Hi'
Meher and family was going to their place and Ayaan was coming along
A:: Aunty is it okay if Meher comes with me in the car?
Laili:: beta now you can start calling me mommy!!!
A:: Ofcourse mommy !!!! I was waiting when you will give me the permission
Laili:: awwww you are such a sweet boy, yes ofcourse Meher can go with you and anyway we are all going to the same place.
A:: Meher would you like to ride with me?
She smiled and said yes and because it was still very early they escaped the paparazzi
A:: so how was the flight?
M:: it was good watched many movies which I don't think I would generally watch then I slept most of the time.
A:: now go home get some rest I'll come back in the afternoon I'll take you to try out your dress that needs to be done now as we don't have a lot of time left.
M:: okay
A:: after that would you mind spending some time with me before I drop you home?
M:: sure
A:: my parents are coming day after tomorrow so I guess we will have some lonely time till tomorrow and Arshi Di will be coming on the 18th then it will be crazy.
M:: yea my brothers will be coming on the 19th
A:: tomorrow I don't have any shooting can we spend the day together?
M:: hmmmm... I guess yes we can....
A:: honestly I can't wait for everything to be over and not run around. Just want to have stress free few days.
M:: that's not possible till end 3 more weeks
A:: yea talk about it. I don't know why we need to have a reception in Delhi too? But I understand most of my family is there and I guess we need to
M:: at least this way we get to meet everyone
A:: that's true... so?
M:: so?
A:: I mean are you excited?
M:: yea little excited little nervous little sad
A:: sad?
M:: I mean I grew up in America and I left everything and came here. It's like taking the leap of faith also my family will be leaving after the wedding and I'll be here alone
A:: hey..... you won't be alone, I'll be here with you... I'm pretty sure you will make friends here soon and ofcourse if you think you wanna work then I'm sure you will find many friends at work too.
M:: right at this moment I'm not thinking of work, first I need to adjust with everything here, adjust with the culture and people I don't want to be shocked by joining work right away.

Ayaan holds one of her hand and squeezes it gently and doesn't leave till they reach home. Nana Nani is excited to see everyone. Ofcourse Nani was the happiest seeing Ayaan as they have a special bond, Nani is so fond of him that she would actually send food as he lives alone and Ayaan did come to see Nani in between. After dropping Meher he wanted to leave but Nani forced him to sit and have breakfast with everyone and then leave. Ofcourse he couldn't say no to her, they sat together and Ayaan told them that he will come back in the afternoon and take Meher for her fitting and pick jewelry and do some shopping and also asked permission to take her out for the day and Laili was happy to let her go. After he finished eating Meher was still eating he said he will take a leave and come back later, Meher was getting up he stopped her
A:: don't worry about it you finish your food. I'll see you in few hours.
M:: what time?
A:: I'll be here by 2, I know you are jet lagged but we will have to go sweetheart. So try to rest now I'll see you soon

He kissed her head gently and left, later that day they went to get her dress fixed which ofcourse took some time, then they also went to the diamond store as he wanted her to pick the one she likes. It was already 7pm she was getting tired as she was also jet lagged.
A:: Meher how about we have dinner and then I drop you home?
M:: sure

They went to a Japanese restaurant and ordered some yummy food and some sushi. By now They both were very hungry and they enjoyed their dinner. They were little far from her house and also the traffic was pretty bad, after sometime driving Meher put her head on his shoulder and fell asleep, he quietly drove home and as they reached he called her name. He caressed her cheek and called her again and she opened her eyes.
M:: I'm so sorry I fell asleep
A:: don't worry about it. It's normal to fall asleep you just traveled also I was enjoying your head on my shoulder at one point I thought let's driver around for some more time then I said no I'll let her go home and sleep
M:: thank you
Ayaan came out to say bye to her, he held her hands
A:: so I'll pick you up around 12 tomorrow
M:: okay
A:: did you like the dress?
M:: Ofcourse I did, it's gorgeous
A:: glad you liked it, I was lil worried. Anyway get some rest I'll see you tomorrow
