Chapter 3

Meher saw Ayaan's wrist and she felt very bad
M:: oh my God!!! I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry I didn't even realize I was holding your wrist
A:: it's okay it's okay, don't be so upset about it.
M:: why didn't you say anything? Why were you sitting quietly?
A:: I was enjoying the way you were getting scared I didn't want to ruin the fun (he laughed at his own joke)
M:: seriously? How sadistic?
A:: that's the whole fun watching horror movie, you see others getting scared and you feel good that you are not alone. But you were funny through out the movie you were squinting your eyes and watching it. If you squint you don't get scared?
M:: no when you squint you don't see the whole screen it kinda gets blurry so when you don't see things properly then you get less scared
A:: what? What kinda logic is that? And so I get this mark on my wrist even after you were squinting and getting less scared and I can't imagine if you watch normally what you would do? (He was laughing like a child and Meher somehow loved the way he laughed)
M:: you are funny
A:: glad you find me funny coz a lot of the people think I'm too arrogant
M:: really? Oh I mean back home I'm sure things are different for you.
A:: that's true, it's not as simple it's here. Also it's no fun being watched by everyone so there's no privacy
M:: that must be hard
A:: yes it is but you gotta pay the price to be a star. It's a give and take business....
M:: give and take is there everywhere, it's just that every job has their pros and cons and we have to accept it the way it comes
A:: exactly!!! Anyway what's you plan after this?
M:: my plan? Nothing special I'll drop you home and I'll go home that's it
A:: actually I'm very hungry, would you like to grab something with me?
M:: hmmm okay... actually I'm hungry too. So what kinda food you are looking for?
A:: anything that won't take long coz I feel I'm going to pass out anytime
M:: oh my God you are that hungry? Would you like Burgers? I mean there's Five Guys just one block from here and I love their burgers and their fries. By the way do you have peanut allergy?
A:: no! Why?
M:: oh good! They fry their fries in peanut oil so making sure.
A:: sure I love burgers
M:: okay let's get the car
A:: I thought you said it's one block I don't mind walking and I've noticed New York has parking issues
M:: that's true, okay let's walk
(They start walking)
A:: so what else can you do here for fun
M:: it depends what kinda fun you are looking for
A:: I'm looking for something peaceful but fun, I'm not a person who goes to discos and all that, I mean I do but not very regular.
M:: I mean in two days we are going for camping so that will be a good experience. It's so beautiful to have snow all over and the mountains you can just sit and watch for hours and also we can go skiing which is a lot of fun, snowboarding is fun too.
A:: you know how to ski
M:: yes!! I love it... actually we do this every winter but this time was (she stopped)
A:: this time what happened?
M:: no nothing!! This time we are late... (she doesn't even know what she is saying coz she can't say her mother just made a plan suddenly)
A:: you'll teach me how to ski?
M:: if you want to learn then why not, but if you fall then I'm giving you heads up I will laugh a lot
She starts laughing just by saying it and Ayaan found it cute. They didn't even realize when they reached the burger place and they ordered their food and ofcourse Ayaan who is a gentleman didn't let Meher pay, they sat and enjoyed the juicy burger and he was quite surprised seeing a girl eat without any hesitation.
A:: nice to see someone enjoy food like this
M:: I'm a foodie
A:: you don't look like a foodie
M:: why?
A:: I mean you are quite fit
M:: oh that way!!!! It's not that I eat like crazy all the time but I eat whenever I feel like eating I don't stop myself but I do work out in regular basis and generally eat healthy food
A:: so you know how to cook?
M:: hmmmm that's questionable but yea cook well enough to survive. Can you cook?
A:: yea well enough to survive. So do you come to india to visit?
M:: yea we do, once a year we go and see our relatives and my Nana Nani they live in Bombay, infact we will be going there this March Wali Bhai is getting married and her fiancé is also Indian so we thought let's do the wedding in India. Would you like to come for the wedding?
A:: would you invite me?
M:: oh sure why not?
A:: yea may be I can take you around and then we can be equal
M:: meaning?
A::, you are taking me around here and I do that in India then that's a balance.
M::in that case I'll have to watch another horror movie?
Ayaan laughed out loud and said this time I make sure you keep your eyes open
A:: okay I have a question. So for the camping the drive is for 6 hours?
M:: oh yea and it's a beautiful drive. Aziz Bhai bhabi their daughter, mom and dad will take the truck but Wali Bhai will take the trailer so his fiancé me and my cousin will be with us.
A:: Niceeeeeee!!!
M:: if you want you can come with us in the trailer, I mean Arshi Di has two kids and you might get bored 6 hours you can come with us coz we play games and all that.
A:: thanks, that will be great!! Even I was thinking coz 6hours drive with kids can be boring and my brother in law is also very shy kind
Ayaan was enjoying Meher's company he felt she is simple and she actually didn't care about his status. For him everything looked different, as last few years he's been dating or he is seeing girls from the industry and it's not the same like Meher. Those girls are simple too but the industry changes everything, everyone is always conscious they think before they talk as they don't want trollers, always have to be on their toes about their looks and everything and here Meher is out with him without any fear what public will say or what will be written next day.
Wonder if Ayaan was attracted to Meher or he was just enjoying the simple life. Meher wasn't any less than any Bollywood actress she was beautiful and also educated comes from a good family not only that she was independent, born and brought up in America but knew her Indian roots, she had everything that many famous people didn't have but still she was just a simple girl.
Ayaan is going through a phase where he needed something different than what he was seeing in last 8 years. He became a household name from his first show and he was getting tired of so much of attention some good some bad, he was looking for a place where there was no pretense where life could still be fun and have all the luxury without being answerable to anyone.
After they had a quick dinner Meher dropped Ayaan, when he came home his sister asked about the movie and what else he did and he happily told her sister what happened and also said he will join them in the trailer, Arshi was happy to see her brother getting along with people and enjoying.
When Meher came home ofcourse she knew her mother will attack her with questions so she braced herself and as she went inside, her mom was waiting
Laili:: you came back so early?
M:: what?
L:: I thought you guys will watch movie have dinner go for long drive
M:: mommy have you gone mad or what? I went with that guy coz you asked me to and I was coming home but he said if I would like to grab some quick dinner that's why I'm late.
L:: what only quick dinner?
M:: mom I don't even know him, why should I take him for long drive?
L;: how come you don't know? You know him last 8 years, we have seen him get married his suhag raats his kids, his moms and dads you even follow him on social media
M:: seriously mommy? You made me follow him so that he can have more followers and those were his shows and not his real life
L:: but you saw him how romantic he can be
M:: Maa he was acting he was doing what the director was telling him.
L:: whatever!! You are so boring... go! Go to sleep!
M:: Goodnight!!! By the way he said he will join us in the trailer to the camping site
L:: really? You are saying this to me now? You don't say the main thing first
Two days later::
They all started early morning around 4Am it was still very dark. Wali came out and welcomed Ayaan and let him in the trailer and saw the moonlight falling on this beautiful girl who was sleeping. He was little surprised to see Meher coz he felt she looks different everytime he sees her but she looks the best when she is sleeping or without makeup just simple.
Wali:: Meher wake up Ayaan is here
M:: wali Bhai let me sleep I'll drive later
Wali:: Meher I said Ayaan is here
Ayaan:: wali let her sleep it's okay I'll also get some sleep and later you guys can rest
Ayaan made himself comfortable and closed his eyes around 6:30 when the sun started bothering Meher she woke up and saw a man sleeping in front of her and she screamed
Ayaan jumped out of the seat
Wali:: Mehu what's wrong
M:: no no nothing
A:: are you okay?
M:: I'm sorry I woke up and saw you I got scared
A:: do I look so scary when I sleep
M:: oh no suddenly I couldn't recognize right after I opened my eyes. When did you come?
A:: when you were sleeping
M:: why didn't you wake me up
A:: hahahaha just wanted to see you sleeping
M:: what?
A:: just kidding, ur brother tried but you didn't wake up so I thought it's better I also get some sleep then your brother and bhabi can rest and we can drive
After half and hour they all took a break. Ayaan being a gentleman got some coffee for all the ladies and not only that Meher's 2 year old niece was sleeping so he carried her till her bhabi had her breakfast. Arshi was praising her brother how he loves kids and she thinks he is going to make a wonderful father.
After the break Wali and his fiancé went back and Meher took the wheel Ayaan sat with her in the front. He was impressed to see how she is so independent also drives a trailer but then again so simple so innocent.
So after another short break in between they reached the camping site around 11:30 .
Ayaan was mesmerized seeing the beauty of nature, he was breathing the cold air, he was trying to take in everything, he had a serene smile on his face he looked so pure that for the first time Meher was mesmerized seeing a man look so beautiful. She actually took a picture of him as he spread his arms trying to be one with the nature.
After everyone settled down they all had lunch and went for hiking, it was too late for skiing. But Meher kinda felt weird taking his pic without asking him
M:: hey!! Having fun?
A:: ofcourse, this is the best thing ever. This is life!! Wow!! I just can't have enough of it...
M:: you know in the morning when you just got out of the car the way you looked so happy I thought of taking a pic, I mean would you want to look at it?
A:: what? You did? Oh my God I would love to see it!!
Meher showed him the pic infact few pics and he was so impressed with the pictures and asked if it's okay for her to send him the pics
M:: sure, but where do you want me to send it? I don't have your number
A:: oh I'm sorry I didn't realize we never exchanged our numbers
They exchange their numbers and she sends him the pic, he posted those pics on his social media captioning it
I've become one with the nature and the nature has taken me as it's own #naturelover

Ofcourse right away people went ballistic and the pics got viral edited cropped and everything in just few minutes, fans posted those pics analyzed who the friend was media already printed that Ayaan Khan found a friend in America.
So after dinner they all sat in front of the bonfire and they were talking and suddenly Ayaan's phone vibrated and he looked at the phone and saw Simi liked his pics and wrote :: glad to see you happy❤️
