Taisei's P.O.V.
When I received Haruto's text about Christina being his girlfriend, I didn't believe him. For all I know, he could be spreading rumors like I was.
Later that day, I saw Christina at the theatre.
"Hey Christina." I grinned, trying to put my arm around her.
"Tai, stop it." She replied, pushing my arm away from her.
"Why would I do that?" I smiled.
"Because she has a boyfriend." Haruto answered, turning the corner.
"You're really sticking with that?" I questioned.
"Yeah, I am." Haruto hugged Christina from behind, and she didn't object at all.
"Why wouldn't he?" Christina asked. "Why hide the truth?"
"Wait... So you two are actually..."
"Yes, we are." They said in unison.
"And I'd appreciate it if you'd stay away from her." Haruto added. "If you don't, well, we'll see what happens."
"Are you threatening me?" I asked, stepping forward.
"What if I am?" Haru retorted.
Seeing Christina still in Haruto's embrace, was heartbreaking. I'm a male ninja, but I still felt like crying. A week after I kissed her, she starts dating on of my best friends. It's even worse that I was her first kiss.
"This isn't over." I answered, before turning to leave. I couldn't let them see me cry over something as stupid as this. I'm a 25 year old man whose about to cry over being rejected.
