Christina's P.O.V.
As we were hiding in the shadows, Haruto sneezed. Mr. Fujimoto turned to where Haruto was and threw a dagger in that direction.
"Haruto!" I shouted out of reflex as I caught the dagger before it hit him.
"Ah, I see you came to get revenge." Mr. Fujimoto smiled as the six of us reluctantly stepped out of the shadows.
"We told you that we'd be back. Did we not?" Ryoto asked. "I couldn't let you get away with using my sister and kidnapping Yuki's brother."
"Kids are so determined these days." Haruto's dad rolled his eyes at us.
"We're not kids!" Tai opposed.
"Is that so?" Mr. Fujimoto laughed. "My son will always be a kid in my eyes."
"I'm not your son anymore." Haruto replied through gritted teeth. "I stopped being your son when you kidnapped my girlfriend TWICE!"
"Awe, Haru. C'mon, besides that, when have I ever been a bad dad?"
"When you beat mom! Or when you nearly killed Yamato for spilling a tiny bit of water! What about when you created an assassin organization combating the organization that I work for?!?" Haruto fired back.
"Everything I did was for you and your mom!" His dad retorted.
"How is beating mom good for her? How is it good for me? What about nearly killing my best childhood friend before Ryo? How is that good for me? How is kidnapping my girlfriend good for me?!? And how is combating me good for me?!?" Haruto's eyes become misty. "Is that your twisted way of taking care of me?!? I don't want a dad to combat with me, who beats my mother, and that I have to worry about if he's going to kill my friends! Those aren't things that a dad should be! A dad should be kind to his son and his wife. He should respect his son's friends! He shouldn't kidnap his son's girlfriend at all!"
"Haruto..." I said quietly as I grabbed his hand. I gave it a gentle squeeze.
"Son..." Mr. Fujimoto frowned, lowering his voice.
"I'm not your son!" Haruto interrupted. "Why don't you get that?!? You never cared about me! What did mom see in you?"
Mr. Fujimoto silently left the room with nothing else to say. When he was gone and the door was closed, Haruto nearly collapsed, but I supported his weight.
We stood there in silence, hugging. I gently pat his back in a comforting manner. Ryoto, Yuki, Taisei, and Mayelyn stood there just watching us.
"I wish I had a really bad dad like Haruto, so Christina would comfort me like that." Tai said after a minute or two of silence.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Maye conjure a pillow and hit him with it. I stifled a giggle.

Hey guys! I finally got over my writer's block! What did y'all think? I feel REALLY bad for Haruto. Even I'm trying not to cry for him, and I created him! I have BIG plans for soon-to-be updates.
Love you guys! See ya later!
