Christina's P.O.V.
The next thing I knew, Mayelyn was dragging the rest of S.W.A.N. to New York. I don't remember much about the plane ride.
When we got off the plane, Maye shouted, "Welcome to New York! The perfect place for a vacation from S.W.A.N. and the assassins!"
"Mayelyn! Shut up!" Ryoto said, half whispering, half shouting.
I saw a girl that I swore I knew, so I snuck away from the others. When she turned around, I said, "I think I know you from somewhere."
She responds, "I'm from Wicked Clash. And I recognize you too. You're the girl with the group that just shouted the word, 'assassins'. Small world, huh?"
I roll my eyes and and say, "My cousin can be a nitwit sometimes."
The teenage girl smirks. "I get that. I'm friends with a guy who has cousin who's a nitwit. We're practically twins."
"Maye has no inside voice." I add as the other five approach us.
"Christina! I told you not to go anywhere alone! Even though we're not in Japan, I still don't want you to be alone!" Haruto said, somewhat angrily.
"Whoa." The girl interjected. "What's with the hot, cranky guy?"
"He's Haruto." I replied, as Haru added, "Christina's boyfriend."
The teen sighed as the group she had previously been with walked up. "Well, here's my crew. Oh and your name is Christina? My name is Isabel." A girl with fiery hair jumps up and down beside Isabel. "And the ball of energy beside me is Sunny."
I gestured toward each of the others in S.W.A.N one at a time. "This is Yuki, Taisei, Ryoto, and Mayelyn."
Upon hearing his name, Tai smiled mischievously.
Isabel frowned. "Is Taisei okay? He looks like he's about to devour us." She shook it off. "Anyway, this is Zach- bleh-, Salem, Kit, Alice, Wes, and Harrison." Isabel gestured to her group like I did.
The crew's previous smiles turned into grimaces as they glanced behind them. Harrison cursed under his breath and Isabel elbowed him in the gut.
Harrison cleared his throat uncomfortably. "As much as I would love to continue this rendezvous, we seem to have a paparazzi situation. We must get going. Maybe y'all could swing by the warehouse tonight?"
Isabel elbowed him again. "You baboon! They probably don't even know where the warehouse is."
"We just got here from Japan." Yuki explained.
"Hmm." Alice murmured as she, too, elbowed Harrison. "Thought so. Just look up 'Wicked Clash: The Warehouse' online. You'll find it. Come by at say ... seven?"
"See you then." Tai grinned mischievously towards Alice.
Wes scrunched up his nose in distaste before whispering to Alice, "Wear your ugly, yellow cardigan."
Alice gawked at Wes. "That's my favorite cardigan! You told me you loved it!"
All of a sudden, a younger girl came rushing over from her spot at the baggage claim. "Guys, we have a slight paparazzi problem. We should go. Now."
Without a backwards glance, they all ran off.
Haruto, Ryoto, Yuki, Taisei, Mayelyn, and I walked into the so-called warehouse. Yuki said, "Is this it?"
Tai replies, "Will you trust me?"
Isabel runs out of a back room. "They're here!" She watched with a satisfied smirk as her crew crawls out of the room.
"Hey guys!" I smiled brightly.
"Hey yourself." Zach replied smoothly with a smirk. Everyone else in the crew rolled their eyes.
"Hey! She's mine!" Haruto embraced me from behind.
Isabel stifled a giggle as Zach waved his hand up in surrender, a frown plastered on his face.
"Why does everyone love Christina? We could be sisters but nobody ever notices me!" Mayelyn frowned.
"I notice you. Zach whispered, a cheeky smirk making it's way into his features.
"Shut up, dork." Kit laughed, hitting Zach upside the head.
I chuckled quietly and said, "That's me with Tai, but Tai usually needs medical help."
Kit smirked. "Don't get me wrong, Zach has definitely needed medical help before."
"I've never needed to get medical help. It's kinda hard to hospitalize a ninja." Tai replied.
Ryoto smacks Tai and said, "You're worse than Maye!"
The younger girl from the air port sniggered, "He thinks he's a ninja."
"Yeah, that's what he meant by that." Haruto breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm 25 years old! I wouldn't say I was a ninja unless it were true!" Tai objected.
"Shut up, Tai!" Yuki shouted.
Salem frowned. "Does he need mental help?"
"That's very possible." Mayelyn laughed.
"I can prove it!" Tai opposed.
"Go on." Alice grinned. "I'd like to see this."
Tai took a shuriken out of his pocket. "Christina, I want you to throw this at me."
"I would LOVE to throw a shuriken at you, but I cannot." I replied.
"If you don't, I might decide to kiss you again."
"Again, you say?" Isabel questioned, a glint in her eyes.
"Shot down!" The younger girl and Isabel shouted simultaneously.
"It's a long story..." I frowned, taking the shuriken from Tai.
I threw it at him and he caught it right before it hit him.
Harrison's face lit up as everyone else exchanged uneasy glances. "No way! Dude, can you teach me that?"
"It took a while to learn." Tai answered.
"It took me a week to learn." I reminded him.
"Well, as much as I would love to continue talking to you fairly crazy people, we have a 'No Ninja' rule in the warehouse." Isabel pointed to a sign that, did indeed, say 'No Ninjas Allowed.'
"We should get back to Japan soon anyway." Yuki replied.
"Yuki! We've been here for a day!" Mayelyn complained.
"C'mon Issy." Salem whined. "Why can't they stay?"
All of a sudden, Mayelyn's phone started ringing. She looks at the caller ID and says, "I gotta take this." Then, she walked off.
"Who could that be? We're Maye's only friends." Tai inquired.
"It's most likely Aunt Kylie." I answered.
"You're her only friends?" Wes queried.
"She hasn't lived in Japan very long." I explained.
They nodded in understanding as Isabel open the warehouse doors. "Guys, in case you haven't noticed we have to dance in 30 minutes. We sent out a tweet and a post on bagelmouth.com. Zach I believe you can leave. From what I can tell, we're not in California anymore."
Isabel turned to us. "It was nice meeting you guys, feel free to stay and watch the performance."
"We should get going soon." Yuki frowned. "Even though we just got to New York, we have unfinished business in Japan."
"Bye!" The crew shouted as we left.
