Mayelyn's P.O.V.
I was really envious of Christina. She was about a year and a half years younger than me, and she's getting married today. I haven't even had a boyfriend yet! It's so unfair. On top of that, her fiancé is a stinking ninja. A NINJA! I can't even get a normal guy! We're practically twins. Why does she get all the guys?!?
Anyway, enough of my jealousy. I really was happy for her. She and Yuki looked beautiful in their wedding dresses. I was both of their bridesmaid along with Aoi and Ryoto's little sister, Ichika.
I almost got lost trying to figure out where I was supposed to be. If Ichika and Aoi weren't there, I know that I would've been late. It was ridiculous. Unfortunately, I tripped walking to my place during the rehearsal and the actual wedding. Everyone was laughing at me.
The vows were beautiful. I almost cried. Almost. I managed not to further embarrass myself.
The best part was the reception. The food was fantastic. Yuki's mom had made the cake, and it was the best cake that I'd ever had. The also served rice, sushi, and dumplings. I think I got like a thousand plates of tempura.
I was really surprised by the song selection. There was a slow song at the very beginning, but other than that, everything song was either rap or rock. There were a few line dances mixed in. Some examples include, The Cupid Shuffle, The Cha Cha Slide, and The Wobble. Takeru basically forced me to do all of them.
At the very end, they played another slow song. Takeru approached me as I stood to the side and out of the way.
"May I have this dance, milady?" He asked me, bowing like I was a princess with him as my "prince charming".
I laughed and took the hand that he had extended. His goofy smile didn't waver the least bit. As to whether he just asked me to dance because I was all alone, I didn't know. Frankly, I didn't even care.
Although it was a normal slow song, Takeru acted like it was a song that you'd dance the tango to.
"You're such a dork!" I laughed at him.
"You're just jealous." He answered.
"Of what?" I joked.
"My mad skills. And the computer in my brain." Takeru answered as if the answer was obvious.
"You have mad skills?" I teased. "I didn't notice. In fact, I didn't even know that you have any skills at all."
"Sure ya didn't." He replied, skeptically but in a joking manner.
At the end of the night, I was exhausted. Christina, Haruto, Yuki, and Ryoto had already left for their honeymoons. As they left, I conjured so many roses to throw at them that I lost count. We had to use a broom to get them out of the road. And by "we", I mean Takeru.
"Remind me again why I need to clean up your mess." Takeru complained.
"Because, you're the one who's dad works here." I answered plainly.
Authors Note
Hey guys! What do you think? One more update and this book'll be done. I know that this was short. The epilogue will be longer. At least 1000 words. I promise.
Thanks for reading! I love my fans. Y'all are awesome!
See ya later,
