Taisei's P.O.V.
The next day, some assassins saw me walking in town and started to chase after me. I would've fought back, but I just didn't feel like it.
As I was running, I saw Christina walking past am alleyway. I veered towards her, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her into the dark alley.
"What do you think you're doing?!?" She shouted.
"There were assassins chasing me, and they would've recognized you." I answered, her wrist still in my grip.
"I'm not afraid of assassins, and we could easily take them out." Christina sternly pulled her hand away. "But thanks for your concern."
She tried to walk away, but I grabbed the scruff if her denim jacket. The truth of the matter was that I really wanted to get her to myself for a little bit. The assassin thing, though true, was just an excuse.
"Stay here until they leave." I ordered.
"Don't tell me what to do, Tai. You're not the boss of me." Christina tried to pull my fist off of her jacket, but my grip was too strong. "Would you let go of my jacket?!?"
"If you stay hidden." I answered pulling her back and into my embrace.
"Let me go!" She shouted.
"You just said to let go of your jacket, so I decided to hold you instead. Why are you being so mean to me? I thought we were friends."
"We are, but you did sorta pull me into an alley and are embracing me, knowing that I have a boyfriend." She replied, a little more gently.
"The boyfriend thing is a big reason for the alley thing."
The next thing I know, Haruto is standing in the alley in front of us.
"Let her go, Murakami." Haruto demanded. "Before I have to kill you."
