Christina's P.O.V.

The next day, I walked up town to get some groceries for Aunt Kylie. As I walked home, I saw Taisei outside of a small shop. When he noticed me, he began to walk over.

"Hey let me help you carry those." Tai grinned, gesturing to the multitude of bags I was carrying.

"I'm fine, but thanks anyway." I replied, desperate to get rid of him.

"As a gentlemen, I cannot allow you to carry all of those by yourself." He returned holding out his hand.

"Ha! You? A 'gentlemen'? Don't make me laugh!"

Before he could make another comment, we heard a scream. I used my power to put my recently bought items in a place that they wouldn't be stolen. Taisei and I ran in the direction of the scream.

After running for about 10 minutes, I saw a guy dressed in all black, his face covered, running in the opposite direction.

"Tai, keep going I'll catch up later." I shouted.

"Okay." He replied.

I chased after the guy in black and yelled, "Hey! Get back here!"

To my surprise, the man actually stopped, and in a deep voice, said, "Who are you and what do you want?"

"My name is Christina, I wanted to know if you know anything about someone screaming."

"Yeah, I know something. What does it matter if I won't tell you?"

"If you don't tell me, I'll just have to force it outta you."

"How do you plan to do that, little girl?" He had turned around and only his eyes were showing.

"You did not call me little!" Anger began to fill up inside me. Before I knew it, I had him pinned to a wall with my katana and a few shuriken keeping him there.

"If you're so tough, then why aren't I dead yet?" He asked, trying to grab my katana.

"If my intentions were to kill you, you'd already be dead, but I need information. I intend to get it."

Through a telepathic connection, Taisei asked me where I was.

"I'm in an alley." I replied in my head. "I may need backup."

"Okay, be there in a flash." I could imagine his mischievous grin.

The very next moment, Taisei had jumped down from one of the buildings surrounding us.

"Miss me?" He smiled.

"Uh, no." I replied. "How'd you get here so fast?"

"I wasn't that far and there aren't many alleys in this area. And I notified the others."

"Tai, it seems as if I get to do my first interrogation." I gestured to the man pinned to the wall.

"Well done!"

"Wait? Did you say Tai?" The guy in black asked. "Would you happen to be Taisei Murakami?"

"Yes, that's me. Why?"

"I'm afraid I've said to much already."

"Tell me how you know my name!" Tai demanded.

Taisei drew his katana, just as the other three appeared.

"Tai!" Ryoto shouted. "Put the katana down. Violence is a last resort!"

"My apologies." Tai lowered his sword.

"Can you explain what you were thinking?" Haruto asked him.

"This guy knows who I am and refuses to tell me how."

"Can you please explain how you know our friend here?" Yuki asked, batting her eyes.

Haruto's P.O.V.

"I'm afraid I cannot." The man in black answered.

"Guys, I've got an idea." I said.

"Well, what is it?" Ryo asked me.

I placed two fingers on my forehead to indicate that I'll read his mind.

I turned to him and invaded his mind, it went like this:

I can't tell them I was sent by my bosses to assassinate Taisei Murakami. And I can't tell them who I work for either. Could these people be those in S.W.A.N? If so, I thought there were only four.

"I got some information, but now I need to find more." I announce.

"Alright, huddle up." Ryoto instructed us.

After we formed a huddle, I told them what I heard. We then formed a planed:

Step 1: Set him free, after putting a tracker on him.

Step 2: When he stops, we go find out where he is and what he's doing.

Step 3: Gather the information we need and form an attack plan.
