The Twist

Haruto's P.O.V.

It pained me that Taisei thought that I would lie about dating Christina. Unlike him, I only lie when I have to.

About a minute later, a young girl (probably about the age of sixteen) entered the theatre.

"Can we help you with something?" I asked her, releasing Christina from my embrace.

"I'm looking for someone by the name of Kokona Sano." The teenage girl answered.

In case you don't remember, Kokona Sano was the name that Christina made up when she went to the assassins' hideout.

"Oh, she was just here." Christina lied. "But she had to leave."

"You expect me to believe that?" The teen smirked. "It's obvious that you are Kokona Sano."

"Why would you think that?" Christina asked.

"My boss told me exactly what she looks like, and that is you." She pointed at Christina.

"Why does it matter?" I asked, pushing Christina behind me.

Just then, Ryoto turned the corner. When he saw the teenager, his eyes became wide with surprise.

"Ichika?!?" He said.

"Ryoto?!?" She replied. "What are you doing here?"

"I... work here." Ryo answered. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, this is daddy's property, and I wanted to see my brother."

"Ichika, if you came to see me, then why were you surprised to see me?"

"Ryo, do you know her?" I asked.

"Yes, she's my little sister." Ryo answered.

"You have a sister!" Christina exclaimed.

"Yeah." Ryoto rested his shoulder on his sister's shoulder.

"You know, your sister was looking for Kokona Sano." I told him.

"Is that so?" Ryo looked at Ichika. "Ichika, tell me the truth."

"Ryoto, my boss sent me to find Kokona Sano, and bring her to him." The teenage girl looked down.

"Ichika, I want you to go to your boss and tell him that you didn't find her." Ryo instructed sternly.

"Y-yes sir." Ichika quickly ran off.

When she was gone, Ryoto said, "It appears they my little sister has joined the assassins."

"Ryo..." Christina frowned. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just hope she comes to her senses before it's too late." Ryoto grimaced.

"Don't worry about it." I replied, slapping him on the shoulder.
