Takeru's P.O.V.
The next day, Haruto, Taisei, Ryoto, and I went on a walk around Kyoto while the girls began to make preparations for the combined wedding.
"This is kinda strange." I said as we walked.
"What's strange?" Haruto asked.
"Ninjas casually walking around Kyoto, Japan." I answered.
"What's weird about it? As far as the everyone else in Japan are concerned, we're just normal people." Ryoto inquired. "Most people see us as some guys hanging out."
We walked passed a sign that read: 馬鹿.
"Why does that sign say 'idiot'?" I asked.
"I believe that's a store sign..." Taisei answered. "That's strange."
"Shall we go check it out?" Ryoto responded.
We all nodded and entered the store next to the odd sign. Behind the counter, there was an American.
"Excuse me." The clairvoyant ninja said to him. "Are you aware that your sign outside says 'idiot' in Japanese?"
"Oh it does? Gosh, that's embarrassing. Honestly, I barely speak Japanese, so I just wrote something." He replied. "Thanks for telling me."
"No problem." Ryoto grinned. "If you would like, I can teach you Japanese."
"Really? You'd do that for a guy you just met?" The man cocked his head to the side.
"Yeah, Ryoto is extremely kind." Haruto slapped Ryo on the shoulder. "He's smart too."
"I'm not smart." Our fearless leader shook his head.
Even though I've only been a ninja for a day, my sister and I already feel like we're part of another family.
"There's obviously something pretty good about you for Yuki to become your fiancé so soon after you started dating." Tai stated.
"Frankly, I'm surprised that she said 'yes'." Ryoto answered.
"I know how you feel. I was waiting for you to come out and say that you and Yuki were engaged before I proposed to Christina." Haruto agreed.
"I think our conversation has gotten a bit off track." I interrupted.
"Oh, yeah. May I ask what your name is?" Ryoto asked the young man behind the counter.
"I'm Spencer." The American answered.
"I'm Ryoto. My companions are Haruto, Taisei, and Takeru. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Ryoto smiled at him. "Do you think that you could meet us at the theatre about a block away from here tomorrow?"
"Sure, what time?" Spencer responded.
"About noon." Haruto and Ryoto said at the same time.
"How did you know I was going to say that?" Ryoto asked his best friend.
"I think you can figure it out." Haruto smirked.
"I'll see you tomorrow then." Spencer grinned before disappearing into the back of the store.
