The Date- Pt 2

Haruto's P.O.V.

I was really shocked when Christina said that she liked me. So I guess Christina's my girlfriend now. I was not expecting this turn of events.

After we ate, we decided to go on a walk through town. As we were walking, I received a text from Tai.

The text said, "where are you?" I texted back, "can't talk I'm with my girlfriend."

"Who are you texting?" Christina asked.

"Tai." I answered. "Thought he should know that you're my girlfriend, so he won't try to make moves on you."

"Haru, are you the jealous type?" Christina smiled.

"Maybe a little." I answered honestly.

Taisei sent me another text asking me when I got a girlfriend and I answered honestly and added that it was Christina. Then, I decided to turn off my phone completely. I slipped it into my pocket, and reached for Christina's hand.

Her hands were so small compared to mine. Today was truly a day that I'll never forget.

After a while, we saw Ryoto coming out of a small shop. He saw us and began to walk over.

"Hey Haru, Christina." He smiled brightly.

"Hi Ryo!" Christina replied cheerfully.

"What are you two up to?" Ryoto asked.

"We're... um... on a date." I answered.

"Is that so?" Ryoto replied. "That explains the hand-holding."

"Huh? Oh yeah." I had completely forgotten that I was holding her hand.

"So are you two a thing now?" Ryoto grinned.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, we are." Christina smiled. "All thanks to you."

"Huh?" I asked. "What do you mean 'all thanks to you'?"

"Ryoto encouraged me to tell you how I feel." Christina explained.

"Really?" I smiled. "In that case, thanks Ryoto."

"Don't sweat it. Congratulations guys!" Ryoto replied. "I gotta go. Bye!"

"Bye Ryo!" Christina and I said in unison.
