Christina's P.O.V.

When I got to my aunt's house, I got a phone call from Haruto.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey Christina." He answered. "I wanna talk to you."

Haruto speaks fluent English, so I don't need to speak Japanese to him.

"Uh, we just talked like 15 minutes ago."

"I know, but I need to tell you something important that I can't talk about in public places."

"Oh? Okay then, why don't you come to my aunt's house? I'll text you her address."

"Okay." And with that Haruto hung up.

I texted him my aunt's address and within 10 minutes, there was a knock on the front door. Before I could get there, my aunt had answered the door.

"Is Christina here?" Haruto asked my aunt.

"Yes. Would you happen to be the one that Chris was talking about when she got home?"

Haruto stood there in silence.

"I'm so happy that she finally found a friend."

"Aunt Kylie!" I shouted.

"Hey Chris!" Aunt Kylie turned and smiled at me. "I was just telling your friend about how you've only had one friend in America."

"That's not true! Ally stabbed me in the back. Literally! Then she spread rumors about me."

Haruto began to laugh, probably because my aunt was teasing me.

He's kinda cute when he smiles. I think to myself.

"You really think so Christina?" Haruto smiled.

"Huh?!?"

Did he hear my thoughts? My cheeks became hot at the thought that he new what I had been thinking.

"Can I talk to Haruto alone, Aunt Kylie?"

"Of coarse." She smiled, walking back into the kitchen.

"Come on in Haruto."

Haruto's P.O.V.

I walked into Christina's house and sat next to her on the couch.

"Haruto, did you here my thoughts just now?" She asked.

"Yes, I did." As I said this, Christina's cheeks flushed red. "That's what I want to talk to you about. I couldn't keep it from you."

"Why?" Christina, still red faced, tilted her head to the side. "We haven't known each other very long."
