Severus...

"MISS SHIRLEY! GET BACK HERE THIS MINUTE" Mcgonagall shouts as I run as fast as I can, frantically looking for a sign as to where Severus was. I just watched my best friend be killed in front of me. That anger and despair that was burning up inside me was the only thing keeping me sane as crazy as that sounds... I knew Severus was in trouble.

Tears start to fall down my face, what if something had happened to him. I had no idea if he was safe or not, I told him once before I would do anything to protect him from any harm. I reach a corridor and hear talking so I listen closely.

"He's being tortured now, he won't tell us where the girl is"

"Does he know he will be killed in the end?"

"He does, and to think he was once one of us"

n-no... severus, please- stay alive. I'm coming for you my love

I run round the corner with my wand in hand, I was not going to let anything stop me from saving him.

OI YOU STOP RIGHT-

STUPIFY!

I send one of the death eaters flying into the wall, knocking him out cold. My glare goes to the other one who is stood there with his wand in hand.

"I would not even dare if I were you" I say walking up to him.

"Who the hell do you think you are" He says raising his wand at me.

"Your worst nightmare" I say as I grab him by his neck and punch him in the face repeatedly, his body falls to the ground with a thud. He wasn't dead though, just in a lot of pain. I felt no remorse, why should I? These are the same people that would kill me without hesitation.

I felt different. It didn't feel right... but it didn't feel wrong either.

I need to find him, I have no idea where he is though. Think Dani think... OF COURSE!

The Astronomy Tower

There was a way I could get there as fast as possible but it was risky, I had never tried it before. Severus taught me the basics of apparition, I had to try. I take a deep breath and a few steps back, without thinking I run forward and twist my body.

I could feel myself flying through the air, I could see the Astronomy Tower. Not only that... I saw Severus chained up.

I WILL KILL THEM ALL

I land with a huge crash that kicks up a lot of dust and dirt. I look up to see Severus staring at me, his face was covered with blood and he had a black eye. I began to cry at the very sight of the man I loved- he had been beaten and he looked like he was in so much pain.

"Miss Shirley... How nice of you to join us"

I turn around slowly to see Voldemort pointing his wand at me.

I say nothing, I knew if Severus could talk to me with his mind right now he would tell me to keep quiet.

"Not going to talk are we, maybe you need a little persuasion" He says, nodding at Bellatrix.

CRUCIO

Severus begins to scream in pain.

STOP IT. PLEASE STOP. I'LL DO ANYTHING! JUST DON'T HURT HIM.

At this point I would do anything to stop his pain. If anyone was going to die today, I would not let it be him.

"We only want one thing from you really, we want your power" Voldemort says circling me.
