Hi, everyone! So I've gathered the questions/clarifications you may have (these came from the readers' comments and messages) regarding 'For the One I Love'. I'll be updating this 'chapter' to accommodate more questions in the future :)

Q; What's up with the mixed signals Hanji's giving us?

A; This is the first time Hanji fell for someone. They mentioned in a previous chapter that they even tried to research 'love', but to no avail. They had a hard time understanding the feeling, so there was an internal 'war', hence, the constant push and pull regarding their feelings towards Y/N. Add to that formula the fear of losing Y/N, and you've got a terribly confused scientist. However, the fear over the possibility of Y/N dying served as the 'wake up call' for Hanji (character development yay!), and so, here we are.❤️

Q: Is there a love triangle?

A; Not really (?) Y/N and Hanji's feelings are mutual, while Levi's feelings towards Y/N are one-sided. In fact, Y/N bro-zoned Levi (hehe)😄 Though, I did have fun inserting some scenes with Levi, (okay let me have my fun too hahaha), at first I only thought of involving Levi for a bit of drama, and partially to add to Hanji's 'wake up call', but later on just did so for the hell of it lol (I mean, Levi already has a ton of x reader stories hahaha)😄

Q: Where's Y/N horse from the Dauper chapter?

A; Safe back at the headquarters❤️

Q: Is Y/N Hanji's first love? At one part of chapter 15, Hanji said "I can't afford getting attached to anyone again."

A; Yes, Y/N is Hanji's first love. The 'again' Hanji said was similar to them getting attached to Levi, Erwin, their (unmentioned) family and other friends. But this is the first time that Hanji's fallen for someone, so they're more terrified of allowing themselves to feel that way (think of it like this, if Hanji's scared of losing their closest friends, what more if they lost the one they love?).

Q: Why are we so weak in the first chapters?

A; Character development😄 I didn't want Y/N's character to be OP or something along those lines - I wanted Y/N to go through the process of learning how to be a skilled soldier (and she's not an Ackerman hahaha)😄

Q: Why are we always getting injured?

A: Well, Y/N only got injured during the expedition with the Beast Titan, then during the Dauper expedition. I want to say that there's been little expeditions in between but they're not that eventful so I didn't include it in the chapters. Besides, I wrote it that way so we could be nursed back to health by our one and only Hanji😉

Q: Are you going to kill off any character in this fic?

A: NO.

Q: In Chapter 3, there were a lot of readers who seemed annoyed with what Y/N did when she charged off without waiting for Erwin's command. Why did she do that?

A; In the chapters before the third chapter, it was mentioned that Y/N lost her family because she easily gets distracted. Y/N didn't want that to happen now - she went from distracted to overly fixated on saving people (trauma effect on her, if people had died that time, she will end up blaming herself for not doing anything even though it wasn't really her fault), because she didn't want to see people end up with the same fate as her parents just because she had to wait. Y/N's character isn't perfect - there's always room for character development, which could be seen throughout the chapters.

Q: Will you make an AU fic about Hanji being in a mafia?

A: Maybe! Though I'm not that familiar with the concept of mafia for now, but I think I can write a one-shot first then see how it goes from there😉So far there are 3 readers who requested this, and I already have a concept in my head but I'm not sure if you guys will like it (hahaha :D)
