Jace
I was kissing her, until I pulled away feeling pain through my side. A fiery red demon shoved me down, and repeatedly started to kick me, I heard Clary scream, and tried to blink away the pain to find her.
It was in that moment I discovered she was screaming for me. She was worried, about me. The demon finally stopped. At last, I could see a portal was drawn with a dark wizard, hidden in a black cloak standing by it. Another demon that was navy blue was holding tightly to Clary, who was frantic looking at me lying below her. The demons each had collar-looking things around their necks and they looked as though they didn't want to be here.
I heard Isabelle before I saw her, she was running towards me, and Alec was going after the demon with Clary.
I watched the demon run towards the portal with Clary, and jump through.
"Clary!" I yelled.
Isabelle leaned over me as the portal disappeared, demons, warlock, and my Clary. All gone.
Isabelle pulled the sword out of me, and pulled out her stele and in moments I stood up feeling better. Physically, but worse inside.
"What the hell just happened?" Alec asked.
"They took her."

I was running, sprinting back to the institute I had to get her was all I could think about, the way we kissed, the way she rolled her eyes at my cockiness, how much I loved her, and I ran. I ran into the institute and up the stairs to where Magnus sat reading in the library with Simon, I burst in and didn't let them get a word in before saying,
"Demons got Clary, I think they were being controlled. I need you both to help me find her, Magnus please see if you can find her"
Simon stared in shock, Magnus began working.
Alec and Isabelle burst into the room extremely winded,
"Jace-- y-you ru-n t-t-too fast"
Isabelle panted.
I suddenly felt dizzy, and sick about Clary. I might never find her again. I fell back into one of the chairs, and refused to move, letting my mind spin on the questions most important. Who had taken her? What do they want with her? How do I get her back? Is she still alive? My heart ached at the last one.
Then my phone began to buzz, I pulled it out, it was Clary's number. I answered, desperate to see if it could be her.
"Clary?!"
"Sorry, not right now" A sleek voice said through the speaker.
"I swear if you've touched her" I hissed.
"No way to talk to her father now is it?"
"Valentine."
