Clary
My eyes snapped open.
I was curled up in a ball, my hands had been unchained. My hands were over my ears, and there were shackle marks on my wrists. I pulled my hands away, the screaming has stopped, at last.
I pulled myself up, and leaned against the wall, closing my eyes, preparing to fall asleep.
A door opened, and light streamed inside. I looked up, and rubbed my eyes. To see Valentine.
"That was sick"
He shook his head,
"I haven't the slightest idea what you mean"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. The screaming. That was sick, and cruel"
He continued looking at me confused,
"Must've been in your head, where would it have come through?"
I went to point at the speaker I had seen, but it was gone.
"Stop messing with my head!" I yelled.
He smirked
"It's time for another dose"
He walked over, and pulled out a needle grabbing my arm, and injecting it.
I moved quickly swinging my leg beneath him. He fell, and I jumped on top, and punched him.
He caught my fist with ease, and broke my left wrist with a twist.
I cried out, and he threw me off onto the floor.
"The drugs are already weakening you. As well as, causing hallucinations."
I held my wrist tightly.
"You'll never get away with this. Jace will find me, they all will"
He begin to laugh,
"You can forget that dream. Let's go"
He grabbed my by my broken wrist and yanked me to my feet. I cried out again, and tried to pull away, but he pulled me along after him. The pain in my wrist was unbearable, and left tears in my eyes that I quickly tried to blink away.
We went up a long winding staircase, to an outside balcony that was above a raging, roaring river. He threw me down, and I landed on my wrist. I fell onto the ground, flat, and against the balcony. My wrist was swollen, and going red, and bruised. The balcony began to disappear, and I was falling, and screaming.
I shot through the water, and sat up still on the balcony, still there. Valentine standing and smirking.
"What is happened to me?!" I yelled pulling my legs to my chest.
"I warned you about the hallucinations, what did you see?" He kneeled next to me and stroked my cheek, but I pulled away.
He growled.
"I'm about to become the only friend you've got."
I looked over at him.
"We will never be friends" I spat.
He smirked,
"We shall see. It's time to go contact Jace about what I want, and what happens if my demands aren't met."
He grabbed me again, but by my good wrist this time. I sighed in relief.
He continued going up the winding staircase, and we passed a glass window, it shattered. I pulled out of his grasp and ducked, my hands over my head. I rolled off the stair set I was currently on through the rails and onto the one below.
"Ah!" Pain seared through my right side. I heard him coming down the stairs. Valentine pulled me off the ground and dragged me up the stairs. I groaned. As we passed the window, it was still whole. I shook my head.
We reached the top of the stairs, and we walked into a large room. He threw me on the floor and walked over to a large screen, turning it on.
Pain exploded in my side when I fell, and my wrist screamed at me. My vision started going black, and then I was out.
