Clary
I opened my eyes. At first I thought that I had escaped with Jace. Then the sting of the betrayal flooded through me.
Tears ran down my cheeks. I looked up to find Isabelle looking at me. I was shocked. I opened my mouth to say something, but she interrupted me,
"I don't want to hear it Clary. You just need to leave. As soon as you're well enough. Just leave. Get out!" She screamed
And I jumped back at the fierceness of her voice.
She stormed out of the room I was in. What is happening? I was so confused. What had I done so wrong? To make both Jace and Iz hate me.
I sat up and hopped off of the bed. I began walking down the hall. It wasn't the institute I knew that much.
Alec rounded the corner.
"Did Isabelle speak to you?" He asked
I nodded softly
"Then why aren't you gone?!"
He shrieked and grabbed me by my throat shoving me against the wall.
I struggled against him, and cried out in pain.
"Get out!" He shrieked and threw me to the floor.
Then he walked off.
I landed on my wrist hard, and it snapped, breaking again in the same place as before.
I cried out again in pain.
"Clary?!" Someone yelled.
In fear I crawled against the wall cradling my wrist.
"Clary are you alright?" Valentine asked leaning down.
I pushed him away. This had to be a trick.
He grabbed me and pulled me into a hug.
I screamed and kicked at him getting him to let go and I ran down the hallway.
I ran into Simon. Tears brimmed my eyes. I went to hug him and he shoved me against the wall.
"Did Isabelle and Jace not make it clear? We don't want or need you here. Why haven't you left?"
I opened my mouth to speak, but he cut me off,
"My hell Clary, can't you tell when you're not wanted here." He laughed and stormed off.
Valentine called my name from far behind. I panicked and began running fast down the hallway only to find myself run into Magnus. I fell back right on my ass and scooted farther away from him. Knowing his feelings about me being here.
He looked surprised
"Clary are you alright?"
I nodded slowly, still cautious
He offered his hand and I took it slowly, being cautious. He pulled me to my feet, and flipped me onto my back.
I groaned in pain but he only laughed and walked down the hall. This was becoming all too much, tears began to stream down my cheeks.
Valentine yelled my name once more but I had no energy. I shut my eyes tightly, pulling my knees to my chest.
There was a hand on my shoulder and Valentine whispered in my ear.
"You have no one left. You will die here, or you will join us. So what'll it be?"
I looked straight up at him, tears still filling my eyes they spilled over down my cheeks.
I shut my eyes tightly ignoring Valentine.
"We're ready Azle. Send them our location, and their instructions. Let's send Clary to her watery prison."They dragged me to the water. Whatever fight I had in me had now gone. They shoved me under water and I fell into the water expecting to drown, instead I found myself in a large bubble. I could breathe.
Then there was a bow and arrow within the bubble that pointed at me. Azle entered the bubble and yanked my leather jacket off leaving me in my tank top. He then handed me my stele, a dagger, and a sword. It was all my gear they had taken in the beginning.
I looked at him questioningly.
"You'll be here for a long time, but someone will come for you. You'll know what to do." He draped a necklace around my neck. Then he left the bubble.
I attempted to follow but it wouldn't let me leave. I sighed, and allowed myself to float.
I was never going to get out of here.
