Jace
I woke in her room, a ring coming from her laptop. I groaned and pulled it onto the bed rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
I sat up, and pulled it onto my lap, and opened it. It was a call from someone unknown. I hesitated, but clicked accept.
It opened onto a room, Valentine stood kneeling over a girl on the floor. He pulled out a syringe, and injected it into her arm.
Immediately the girl sat up, and I recognized her. Clary.
"That adrenaline boost should keep you up"
He grabbed her wrist and she cried out. He continued dragging her towards the screen. He threw her down and I could see bruises on her right side, and shackle marks on her wrists, as well as her left wrist was broken and swelling. She fell to the ground, but looked up tears in her eyes.
"Clary..." I was speechless. I wanted to reach her, rescue her. Save her.
"Jace" she said her voice almost desperate.
"I'm going to get you out. I promise"
Valentine began,
"I have given Clary a drug that causes hallucinations, and weakens her, if my demands aren't met, then she will get much worse."
She sat there still until he was finished
"He's lying, I'm fine. In fact, Jace don't meet his demands no matter what happens to me."
He turned to her
"Silence from you"
"Jace don't do anything! Nothing!" He already was coming towards her.
"No matter what!" She yelled, and tripped him, then she was on him, faster than I've seen her, she punched him twice before he grabbed her hand, and rolled so he was on top. He punched her twice, and then got up.
"Clary!" I cried
She looked up from the floor, a bruise already forming on her face.
"What do you want Valentine?!" I yelled.
"It's simple really, the first thing is to break Clary, henceforth, breaking you."
He turned back to her, and kicked her in her bruises right side. She fell to the ground, and cried out.
"Stop!" I screamed "Stop!"
But he only kicked more, he kicked until she cried, tears streamed down her cheeks, and sobs echoed the halls, and I watched helpless, as the screen just turned off.
"No... This can't happen. No."
