Hero's POV
The next day...

I don't think I've ever been so worried about Jo.

Not only is she stressed emotional about everything that's happened with her dad but also the baby. I think the baby is really throwing her off her game.

I think people respect her more since she put Daria in her place, but she's still on edge with everyone.

I don't think she trusts anyone.

I understand it, honestly I do, I just wish she'd open up to me about it. To be fair she's done her fair share of opening up compared to me... but there's nothing much to open up about.

I rub my eyes as I keep reading over this fucking paper work. Something bad is we can't figure out how the fuck they got in. Once we figure that out it'll be okay because then we won't make the same mistake.

I hear a small knock at the door, and I'm expecting to see Jo. But it's Daria instead. "Hey... what's up?" I ask, I still have to be civil with her.

"I just wanted to ask a few things," she tells me and sits at the edge of my desk.

"Okay... ask away," I say and she smiles a bit. The smiles puts me on edge but I don't think I'm gonna say anything. Yet.

"You know of someone else pulled that stunt your girl did, you would've killed them," she tells me like I don't already know that.

"What's your point?" I tell her and she chuckles. Fuck, I know this isn't gonna go well.

"She made you soft Hero. I mean fuck, the last time someone treated someone like that you cut their hand off," she reminds me and I cock an eyebrow up at her.

"That doesn't sound like a question," I say and she smiles a bit, looking down.

"Why are you soft on her? I know she's not one of your fuck girls but I'm surprised you haven't called her out on her bullshit." She tells me and I shake my head a bit.

"Have you ever considered that maybe what she's saying isn't bullshit? And I'm soft on her for a lot of reason that you don't need to know," I tell her and she comes closer to me.

"But why only be tied to one girl? Don't you miss fucking anything under the sun?" She asks me and I shake my head. The truth is that I don't, I don't miss fucking anything and everyone. I love just being with Jo.

"Why fuck everything when you can fuck the person you love?" I ask and she shake her head.

"You fell in love with the enemy Hero, she's dragging you under," she says and stands off the desk, moving closer to my chain and turning it to her will.

"The fuck are you talking about?" I ask and she chuckles, shaking her head.

"You need a good... fucking," she says and straddles my lap. "A good fucking from one of your own," she tells me and I try to get her off.

"Daria get off of me," I say and she shakes her head at me.

"Have you ever thought that maybe she's the one who told her dad where she was?" Daria says into my ear and I get her off of me.

"Get the fuck away from me, and the next time you say some shit like that, it's your hand that's getting cut off," I say and she rolls her eyes at me before walking out.

I sit back in my chair and sigh softly. That was fucking weird. I should've known she was gonna pull some shit like that.

I call Felix in and explain the entire situation to him. He doesn't hate Jo as much as he makes it seem. He just feels betrayed and was too worried about me to feel anything originally.
