Anakin's POV
"I can feel her. We're getting closer." We all continued to walk through the freezing weather of Hoth. I was cold but too focused on her force signature to care. Rex, Ahsoka, and Fives on the other hand had their arms wrapped around themselves tightly as their teeth chattered.

We had to land a safe distance away to not alert Rey or Ti, which sadly means we have to walk through the freezing cold. But it was worth it if I got my wife back.

"Stop with the chattering it's not that cold." Obi-Wan rolled his eyes as we pushed through the storm.

They all shot him annoyed glares and I let out a chuckle, "My nose is blue!" Ahsoka snapped.

"Huh I thought it was always that color." He shrugged and she was about to smack him when the sound of a roar caused us all to stop in place. We looked around us to find the source of the sound, but it was hard to see anything that was more than two feet away thanks to the snowy opaque air that whisked around us.

"What was that?" Rex questioned as he spun in circles trying to locate the noise.

"Wampa." I growled as I pulled out my lightsaber. Wampas are nasty creatures with razor-sharp fangs and claws. They have incredible stealth and white fur to camouflage in the snow while hunting their prey. "Stay close together, it'll pick us off one by one if it can." I ordered and both Rex and Fives got closer to me but Ahsoka and Obi-Wan brought out their weapons, ready to cut off a limb.

Another roar was heard from my right and I turned quickly but I heard it run in a different direction and I lost its location. "Where are you." I whispered as I spun in circles slowly trying desperately to see in front of me.

"Fives!" I heard Ahsoka shout that was quickly followed but the cries of Fives. He fell to the floor and there was blood coming out of his shoulder where his armor used to be. Ahsoka knelt by his side while keeping her eyes around trying to see where the creature went. "You'll be fine." She comforted him before standing back up, anger clear in her eyes. She stood over him in a protective stance as the rest of us continued following the growls and roars that surrounded us. I was worried for my friend, we all were, but we couldn't let our guard down.

"Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted and I spun around quickly to be met with a large claw aiming right for me. I jumped back and sliced through its arm causing it to roar loudly as it backed away out of sight. But I wasn't letting it get away. I ran forward, ignoring the shouts of both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka telling me to stay together.

I followed the trail of the blood in the snow that finally led up to a cave. I stood outside of it for a moment debating on going inside, but of course I did.

I walked out of the snowy winds and into the cold but calm air of the cave. There were ice crystals all around and carcasses of tauntauns scattered over the floor. I could hear it heavily breathing and I turned a small corner to see it slumped over on a wall clutching where it's claws used to be. Easy prey. Or so I thought.

Obi-Wans POV
"Damn him." I growled as Rex and I followed where Anakin went. Ahsoka offered to take Fives back to the ship where she can give him medical treatment and I set her off to do just that.

"Leave it to General Skywalker to run head first into danger." Rex sighed as he followed closely behind me with his blaster in hand, ready to shoot at anything that moves.

"You're telling me." I rolled my eyes at my former padawans reckless actions. We followed the trail of blood just as I expected Anakin to and came to the entrance of an ice cave.

"Do you think he went inside?" Rex asked as we stood at the entrance trying to listen for any noises. We both looked at each other for a moment then let out a laugh that we even had to think about it.
