Chapter 16: Gossip Girl

Chapter 16 Gossip Girl:

Once I walked into the school everyone was staring at me. These people obviously don’t have a life since they’re so interested in mine. First person I spotted was Em. Can you believe it, this girl is still pissed at me I’m so going to get dared today. I ran to my locker remembering I had history first period. I walked into class right when the bell rang. Lucky me. But wait, the only seat open was next to Damon. Why can’t he just go away! But that means one less eye candy; at least he’ll be gone though.

“Ms. Parker if you’re done daydreaming could you take a seat so I can start class,” Mr. Bradford said. Someone’s in a bad mood, but when is he not.

I quickly took my seat next to Damon who smiled at me and I smiled back. Halfway through class a balled up paper was thrown to my desk. I pick it up and look to see where it came from but got bored so opened it up.

You’re looking gorgeous today. If it’s to impress me than don’t I’m already impressed. –D

Obviously Damon would write that but that is kind of adorable. Wow Elena snap out of it he’s a bad boy don’t get involved. A few minutes later I get another note. I open it expecting it to be Damon but was surprised it wasn’t his handwriting.

Awwww Jake is so cute! I look up at him and smile and he smiles back. A second later I felt something hit my head. I look down and see it’s another note. I pick it up and read it.

We need to talk. –DW

Drew needs to talk to me? About what? I look at him but he just nods and looks away.

The bell rang and everyone got out of the class, Damon made sure he bumped into me on his way out and Jake waved. I went to look for Drew but he was already gone, I guess he doesn’t want to talk anymore. Now it was math time. Ew.

I walk into class and see Em, maybe she knows what Drew wants to talk about.

“Hey,” I say as I sit next to her.

“Hey.”

“You still mad?”

“Nah I can’t stay mad at you forever. So is the rumor true about you and Shane?” she asked.

“What rumor?” I asked confused.

“That you came to school on Shane’s bike and you wouldn’t let go of him.” Why does everyone care so much about my life! Wait not everyone mostly Eliza. She’s such a gossip girl!

“Yes, I came to school with Shane on his bike but you know why, so why are you so surprised?” I asked.

“I do know why and I’m not surprised I just want to know what Sabrina’s going to do.” That makes two of us.

“Anyways do you know what’s wrong with Drew he’s acting weird and he wanted to talk to me. Has he told you anything?”

“No not really.” Em said. I drop the topic and look up just in time to see Shane enter the room. He made sure that everyone was looking when he winked at me. I hate this kid so much! He went to sit with Tyler who was right behind Em and me. Damon walked in next with girls all over him. That’s gross he’s not even that good looking. Who am I kidding he’s gorgeous. Well at least he’s not over me so thank you girls. Math went by fast and it’s finally lunch time! I walk into the cafeteria and see Drew sitting on the table by himself. Perfect now I can find out what he wants to tell me. I start walking over but someone blocked my path. I look up and see its Jake.

“Hey,” he said.

“Hi,” I answered with a big smile.

“I haven’t talk to you in such a long time,”

“Yeah I know, that’s probably because we just became friends.”

“That and probably because I don’t have your number yet either,” Jake said.

“Oh, that’s such a great way to get a girls number. How many girls have you tried that on,” I joked.

“You’re the first and the only I tried and will try this on.” Aw he’s so cute. Snap out of it Elena.

“Well if that’s the deal than give me your phone,” I say with my hand out. He took his phone out and dropped it in my hand. I quickly put my number and gave it back. He smiled down at his phone and left saying bye. I look at my table and see it’s full now. What did I want to do before Jake came? Oh well.

I walk over to the table and say hi to everyone and they were all talking about me and Shane. I tried avoiding the topic and Em helped and we finally got them to talk about something else.

“Oh yeah football tryouts are starting,” Austin said happily.

“Cool you trying out?” I asked trying to get the topic going.

“Hell yeah I’m trying out and hopefully I get a position this year,” he replied.

“That’s great,” Em said.

“Anyways, cheerleading tryouts are starting as well,” Em said excited. Oh no!

“I’m planning on trying out what about you Elena?” Em asked.

“I’m going to pass on that, I hate Sabrina and Sabrina hates me, even if I did tryout I wouldn’t get in,” I said and Em nodded in agreement. The bell rang which meant it was time for Chemistry the most awkward class. I walked in and took my seat next to Austin.

Then everyone else came in quickly.

“Okay class we are going to finish the experiments we started so go back to your groups from last time,” Mr. Adam said.

Great.
