Chapter 22 Wedding Crashers:
Jake and I sit next to the water watching it slowly come towards our feet.
“Feeling better?” Jake asked.
“Much better, thanks,” I say with a smile.
“That’s what friends are for,” he said with a smile.
We just sat in silence enjoying the beauty of the ocean in front of us.
“Hey look at that,” Jake said pointing to my right.
I turn my head and see he was pointing at a wedding.
“Aww, a beach wedding that’s cute,” I say.
“Let’s go,” Jake said getting up and dusting off his pants then offering me a hand.
“Go where?” I asked confused while taking his hand to get up.
“To the wedding, where else,” Jake said in a duh tone. Like I so would know what he was talking about.
“What, are you insane? No! We are not crashing someone’s wedding!”
“Elena, come on! It’ll be fun!” Jake said super excited.
“No we aren’t even wearing proper clothing.”
“So? Trust me it’ll be fun and nothing will happen.” After a while I answer.
“Fine, let’s go.”
We quickly walk over to the wedding place and take a seat in the last row. Right when we sat down the bride started walking down the aisle.
“Oh wow she looks so pretty,” I tell Jake.
“Yeah she really does.”
The bride walked down to her groom they said their vows and kissed. Everything was beautiful.
“Okay let’s go now,” I say to Jake.
“Wait no the best part is about to come up!”
“How many weddings have you crashed?”
“Ummm a few.” He said with a smile.
“Okay everybody it’s time for the bride and groom to dance,” one of the guys in a suite said.
People cleared the way for the bride and groom and they started dancing, it was so sweet. Then all of a sudden the music started messing up and wobble started playing. Everyone started cheering and making their way to the dance floor.
“Come on let’s go!” Jake said pulling my arm. Both of us make our way to the dance floor and start wobbling.
Jake kept interacting with all the people on the dance floor, he was keeping them pumped up and it was fun watching him do that. We stayed on the dance floor till the end it was amazing and super fun.
“Okay all you happy people let’s slow down the pace of the song again and have a romantic slow dance.” The Dj said putting on a lovely song.
I get ready to leave the dance floor when I see a hand I look over to see its Jake.
“May I have this dance with a beautiful girl,” he said. I smile and take his hand.
