Chapter 19: Caught Red Handed

Chapter 19 Caught Red Handed:

“Um surprise? For what? It’s not my birthday or anything special.” Shane answered calmly. He’s a good actor too. But an idiot obviously she’s here to check on him but didn’t want to be too obvious.

“Well that’s why it’s a surprise there’s nothing special we just thought we should hang out like old times.” Sabrina answered.

“Oh that’s great.”

“Yup it was all Sabrina’s idea,” I think that was Jake.

“That’s great.”

“You weren’t doing anything were you?” Sabrina asked curiously.

“What me nope nothing at all.” Beep. I hear people shuffling.

“That wasn’t mine.”

“Or mine.” I look down of course it wasn’t there’s it was mine.

I texted the pics. Hope everything went smoothly. –Em

I hit my head which caused me to hit the table which caused a loud thump sound.

“What was that?” Sabrina asked suspiciously.

“What I didn’t hear anything,” Shane answered.

“But I did and it came from there,” I hear her heels hitting the floor coming closer and closer to where I was hiding. I look up and see a shocked faced that belonged to Sabrina.

“What are you doing here!” she yelled. I covered my ears and pushed her back so I could come out from hiding.

“Elena?” Jake said confused I just smiled at him awkwardly.

“What is she doing here?” Sabrina asked Shane.

“Um well um,” Shane stuttered.

 “I knew she was here!” Sabrina yelled.

“How’d you know?” Shane asked confused.

“I received pictures of you holding her while taking her inside, I just came to check if they were true and they were!”

“Well I’m just going to go change while Shane explains everything,” I said while I walked to the stairs with everyone staring at me.

“Change? What the hell are her clothes doing here? How many times have you guys hooked up that she left her clothes here?!” Sabrina yelled.

“Well we haven’t been hooking up.”

“Really? So what are her clothes doing here?”

“About that… she actually lives here,” Shane mumbled. There was a silence.

“SHE LIVES HERE! Why does she live here?! Does Mrs. Carter know?!” Sabrina exploded.

“Yeah mom was the one to invite her, see mom’s her legal guardian so she lives with us now.”

“And where do you live?” Jake asked.

“I live in the main house with mom now.”

“So that’s why she was here that day.” Jake said.

“Yeah,” Shane answered.

“I’m leaving.” Sabrina said and I heard the door slam shut. Seconds later I heard it open and shut again and there was complete silence.

This was fun. No one’s going to mess with me now. Muwhahahaha!
