Chapter 8 Up All Night:
I drag my luggage to the middle of the room too lazy to carry it upstairs. I sit on the floor and start putting my slippers on. Shane has gone crazy. God knows what will happen to him. I look up to see an angry Shane coming my way. I quickly get up and run to the door and lock it right when he reached it.
“Elena! Elena! Open the door now! Stop being so childish.” Shane yelled while hitting the other side of the door.
“Shane, that’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. Stop being so childish, leave me alone, and go home!”
“What?”
“What do you mean ‘what?’ Look I apologized, but you’re still trying to get revenge!”
“I don’t care about revenge anymore! Understand?! I’m telling you for the last time, open this door now!”
“Shane, I’m telling you for the last time too. I’m not that special, you’ll find hundreds of girls that would like for you to chase them around! Now go home!” After not hearing anything for a while I put my ear to the door and listen but all I hear is silence. It seemed like he was gone. Then I heard a loud thud that made my heart rate triple its speed.
“Shane! What are you doing?! I’m telling you I’m really not that special! Shane you’ll get hurt! Stop banging on the door it’s not going to break open!” BAM! I turn around to see the door bust wide open and Shane fell on the floor right next to my feet. I’m just standing there with my mouth dropped opened from the whole sight.
“I-I think you’re,” I start but get cut off.
“What do you think? That you’re actually special?”
“Uh… um,” Just turn around Elena and leave before you make a fool out of yourself by answering that. I turn to leave but Shane grabs onto the sleeve of my cardigan stopping me in place.
“Shane. Let go of my cardigan.”
“And what if I don’t let go?” he says while getting up off the floor. Uh what the HECK am I suppose to say to that?! I got dragged back to reality when I felt a tug on my sleeve and I was pulled back. Then another and another until my back was nearly touching his chest. I couldn’t help but let myself blush and I felt my heart rate boost up.
“Shane. Let me go.” I said breathing heavily.
“I’m not holding your cardigan.” He says which made me realize he wasn’t.
AWKWARD!
I turn around so that I’m facing him.
“Go, Elena, go away from here or otherwise…” I took a step back right when he said otherwise.
“Look, I’m a strong girl. I’m not going to get scared by your threats. This is my house and I’m not going anywhere!”
“This is your house?” he says angrily and started walking towards me.
“Yes,” I state taking a step back every step he takes forward.
“Look, don’t come near me. Uh Maria has huge dogs and if they come, you’ll be doomed!”
“Maria hates dogs. Which is why, to this day, no dogs have entered this house.” He knows everything!
“So what if there aren’t dogs? She has security guards. If I scream for 1, 10 will come running in here!”
“Oh 10 will come?” He asked.
“Uh yes.” I answer taken back by that question.
“Wrong! Not even 1 will come, because there are no security guards in the house. There’s a security system installed here.” That’s when my back hits the wall which caught me by surprise because I didn’t even know I was still walking backwards.
