Chapter 15 - The Pseudo-Jinchuriki

"Naruto!"

Naruto turned. Hoshiko was waving at him. "Did you find anything?"

"No," she sighed. "I've gotten everyone looking for him, but nothing was found. Dammit, did he leave the village?"

Naruto shook his head firmly. "I have a strong feeling he's still here."

Hoshiko chewed on her lip. "Well if your feeling is that strong, I'm sure he is."

They walked for another minute. Then suddenly, Naruto stopped in his tracks, and so did Hoshiko. "That chakra," they said at the same time.

"All I can tell is that its angry. The ferocity of it is overwhelming," said Hoshiko, coughing.

"Wait. It's-no doubt about it," her friend said. "It's Sora. And he's directing that anger at the hokage's tower! We have to move."

Without another word, the two shinobi sprinted into the tower and up the stairs. Naruto burst in in time to knock over Lady Tsunade before a giant shuriken came flying into the room, smashing the window and impaling itself into the wall. And Sora came sliding in, his arm once again in it's monster form. He gathered up chakra into his mutated hand, and shoved it at Lady Tsunade. Hoshiko slid in front of her, though, and put her arms up in an "X" shape, forming a barrier that saved all three of their lives. 

That's when Shizune and two ANBU black ops members ran in. "Milady!"

Sora growled, then leaped out of the window. Hoshiko and Naruto ran after him. "Something weird is going on," Hoshiko muttered. The entire city had blacked out. All the lights were gone. Everywhere, ninja were securing the  main gate, team leaders reporting to the hokage's house, younger ninja coming out of houses, restaurants, the hospital, to see what was going on. Everyone was on high alert. The village was under a level 2 security alert.

A few minutes later, the ninja on guard at the front gate saw four shinobi walking toward them. 

"Stand guard!" called Genma. "Wait for my signal."

He let the ninja draw a few meters closer before raising his arm. A dozen leaf shinobi lept at them.

And were swallowed by the ground as the earth opened up beneath their feet.

"Dammit," growled Genma. "Don't attack head-on, you'll only die. From now on, continue only at a distance!"

Furido chuckled. "Fuen?" 

"Yes, of course." The lady named Fuen stepped in front, making complicated hand signs. She spread out a giant scroll, and slapped her palm onto it. "Barrier defense seal jutsu. Eight-gate lock-up!" 

A giant tower slowly rose out of the ground at the north, south, east, and west gates. Then a other-worldly barrier connected the four towers. A defense barrier, meant to keep the enemy out, or to keep them in. 

From inside the hokage's tower, the security alert was raised to level 1. 

Out side the gate, a bright white light flashed. And the four shinobi appeared inside the gate. "Hello leaf ninja! We are here to restore order in the land of fire. The hokage is nothing but a nuisance, another king. But there can only be one. The feudal lord must rule supreme! And-"

"We won't let you touch the hokage," spat Kotetsu.

Furido sighed. "We didn't expect you to agree with us. Fine. We gave you a chance. Fudo?"
