My Dear Reader,
Before you dive into the story, there's some information you need to know and some you don't need to know. There are but two things you don't need to know, the first being what I don't mention in this letter and the second being who I am. However, there are quite a few things you do need to know, unfortunately for me and my pen.
First, you must know that Sakura Haruno is not a part of Team 7, replaced by the true third of Team 7, Hoshiko Agawa. She is, however, an important part of the medical core and a student of the fifth hokage.
Secondly, Hoshiko's powers. They are complicated, to say the least, and this has to be my fifth time trying to explain it. To say the least, she can make lasers, orbs, and walls of light, water, air, earth, and fire, as mentioned in the description, as well as life (healing and energy) and death (death). She can also make barriers. At first, her shields were weak and didn't last long, but as she progressed, she began to be able to bend and shape the barriers into anything she wants. Portals are also within her grasp, although they are taxing. The longer the distance, the more people going through, the bigger the portal, and the longer it is open all have an effect on how much chakra is taken. Again, the more she trained, the less chakra is taken every time she opens a portal.
One last thing. Or rather, three. Hoshiko becomes known as many things, but one name she is known by the best is the title "Triple-threat Swordswoman". Three swords, each more dangerous than the next. The first threat is a special kunai. Golden and glowing, it returns to its master every time she throws it. Second threat: the dagger. A short sword with two buttons on the handle, the dagger amplifies chakra, allowing Hoshiko to open portals and shape barriers more efficiently. Finally, the third threat is a flat sword that changes according to its owner's will. The blade can widen, shorten, lengthen, bend, and twist. The rest you will find out eventually.
As for the romance, there's quite a lot, and you'll just have to read on to discover it ;)
