I was helping mum plate up some food for breakfast, making tea and setting the food on the dining table as Five helped out the cutlery down. He pecks my cheek every time I walk past him and I chuckle, trying to dodge him but he always grabs me to make sure to plant a kiss on my cheek. We were at my old home, spending the last day with my mum and sister before we left for our flight back to New York. I was exhausted this morning, not wanting to get up at all but my boyfriend knew I had to since I promised my family to see them and join them for breakfast. Plus I couldn't miss out on mums cooking one last time.
"I want to sleep again..." I yawn and Five chuckles, hugging me from behind.
"But I know you're hungry. I almost had to drag you out of bed today. Again."
"I'm too comfortable with you... you're so warm and snuggly in bed. It's hard to get up." I peak over to see my sweet assassins cheeks and ear blush red making me coo at him. He turns me around snuggles me, hugging me tightly as his arms engulf me and I get even more sleepy from how arm he is as I nuzzle his chest.
"But you said you wanted to spend time with your mum and sister before we leave." Five reminds me and I nod. I was getting cold and shuffled to my old bedroom to grab a jumper, getting one for him after he emerged from the bathroom after freshening up to eat.
"I knew the smell of food would get both you up." my mum jokes and I look over to see my sister finally awake as she checks out what was for breakfast. She goes to brush her teeth and mum turns to me. "You both are heading back tonight aren't you?" She asks as we all sit down at The dining table once everything was ready, waiting for my sister to join us when she was ready too.
"Yeah, we have to go back to the hotel to pack everything up before heading to the airport." I answer, sipping my tea as Five drinks his coffee. I could see the way his eyes light up and I feel proud that he likes my mums coffee.
"You can't stay for Christmas?" She asks again and I shake my head making mum frown and it makes me feel so bad.
"I'm sorry. I have to work to organise the New York New Year event."
"That's so cool you get to plan that. You always did say you wanted to go to Times Square to see the ball drop." my sister says as soon as she sits down and I nod.
"We'll come after New Year to visit though." my mum perks up after that and she urges us to eat and we all dig in together. God I missed her cooking.
"Can we come to the airport to see you off?" my sister asks and I nod.
