"millie!" sadie yells, running towards her
"hello sadie. you're in a good mood." millie chuckles
"the cast is having a sleepover at my house tonight. you didn't reply to the group chat last night but i'm still counting you in." sadie smiles
"oh, i probably missed the texts but sure i'll join you guys." millie smiles softly
"yay! okay, i need to get ready now, bye mills!" sadie waves before running off
"bye! stop running!" millie giggles, waving back
"millie!" finn shouts, "come here." he drags her off to behind a trailer
"woah!" millie yelps in surprise, "the fuck, finn! you scared me, you little shit!"
"sorry." finn chuckles lightly
"what's up?" she asks, crossing her arms
"are you mad at me?" he asks
"no, why would you think that?" she asks, furrowing her eyebrows at his ridiculous question
he shrugs softly, "you just seem mad at me."
"well, i'm not. you're just quite annoying." she says, raising a eyebrow
"what do you mean i'm annoying!? i'm not annoying!" he exclaims
"you kinda are. you won't stop following me, you won't stop begging to practice lines and you won't stop begging to talk. we've talked enough, finn." she tries to walk off
he grabs her wrist and stops her, "us talking was basically us not talking."
"what do you mean!? we talk!" she exclaims
"oh yeah? we're like normal for a few minutes and then once we leave you ignore me again." he sighs
"i don't do that." she scoffs
"yes you do, don't deny it" he says
she sighs, "i do ignore you." she mumbles
"then why? all i want to do is fix us..." he whispers
"fix us? when you throw a plate onto the floor and it smashes into a million pieces, can it be fixed!? can it!? it can't, finn. yeah we're normal sometimes but when i go home all i can think about is what you did to me." she pokes his shoulder harshly
"you can fix it with glue." he mutters
she lets out a small chuckle, "it still has scars." she walks off
he grabs her wrist once again and stops her, "some scars pass, don't they?"
"how will my scars pass?" she whispers, pulling her wrist back harshly
"with my help." he whispers back
she sighs, closing her eyes, "how will someone that broke me, fix me?"
he frowns, pulling her into a hug.
"get off of me." she tries to move away from his touch
"mills. let yourself let me fix you. please." he whispers
"finn-"
"stella, please." his voice cracks
her face softens at the nickname. she sighs, hugging back, "you can't fix me."
"how would you know if you have never let me tried?" he asks, putting his head on hers
"i just know." she mutters into his chest
