"isn't the view so beautiful?" millie whispers, staring out at the view on the roof as she fiddles with the cupcake in her hands

"i know, that's why i brought you up here." finn smiles softly, "why aren't you eating the cupcake? it tastes really good."

"r-right, yeah, it's just too sweet." she places it down besides her, "dad will kill me if he found out i ate something like that."

"yeah well that old man is not here." he scoffs, "you lost too much weight, eat it please."

"i have to maintain the weight." she whispers

"mills, no. sags are over if that's what you care about and anyways who cares? it's just a freaking cupcake. look at me, i eat a ton of those and yet i'm a stick." he tells her, "you don't have to maintain the weight."

"yeah well, anorexia is a bitch." she mutters

his eyes widen, "y-you have- you have anorexia!? millie, why didn't you-"

"i used to." she cuts him off, "i was in denial for quite a while, i don't know." she whispers quietly

"do you still have it?" he asks quietly and softly

"i hope not. i quit therapy so i don't really understand my own actions." she chuckles quietly

"b-but... but why did you quit?" he asks, furrowing his eyebrows

"it didn't really help me that much, yeah i understood better on my relationships with people but i couldn't overcome but depression and anxiety along with my small case of anorexia. it just all together didn't help so i quit." she opens up to him honestly, "but i did learn something from out of it."

"which is?" he asks, genuinely curious about this

"to write everything down. my therapist suggested to write things down in my journal, like things that make me feel sad or angry. it helped since it was like having a friend to talk to." she gives him a smile

"but now you have me." he returns the smile as she nods

"yes i do."

millie pulls back from the hug with finn, smiling at the memories of last night that rushed through her for a split second.

"i'm sorry i have to leave now. really wish i could have stayed today." she frowns, placing her hand on his cheek

"it's okay, mills. i'm leaving tonight anyways, at least i get to spend some time with my parents." he smiles

her frown turns into a smile, "yes, you have to spend some time with mary and eric, they miss you."

"i know but i'll see you tomorrow on set, correct?" he asks

"of course! i have to go now though, don't miss me too much." she gives him a kiss on the cheek

"you missed, baby." he pouts, pointing to his lips

she rolls her eyes playfully, moving to the side and kissing his lips as he smiles widely.

"alright finnie, i have to go before it's too late." she tells him as he nods, "see you tomorrow, stella."

"see you tomorrow." she turns around and joins her mother from afar

"you ready?" kelly asks as they walk towards the gate

millie nods, "yeah."

"are you tired, millie? you can skip dinner and head to bed if you want." kelly suggests as they arrive home

"yeah, i would love that actually but dad-"

"i'll tell him you passed out on the way back. he wouldn't suspect anything nor talk to you." kelly smiles softly

"thank you, mum. oh and filming ends at 5 tomorrow so i would be home early." millie informs her

"oh, that's great then! head on up to your room now, i'll see you tomorrow." kelly smiles before opening the front door quietly

millie nods, making her way up to her room quietly and then shutting her door. she puts down her stuff by her desk and then walks to her bed.

quickly, she sends a text to finn telling him she was home now. after that she walked to the bathroom, stripping out of her clothes and rinsed her body quickly.

she got ready for bed as quick as she can and laid down on her bed with a small sigh.

suddenly she hears a bunch of muffled shouts from downstairs and she quickly acknowledged that her parents were shouting. possibly over her.

she grabs another pillow, covering it over her head to block out all the sounds.

she didn't want to know that they're marriage was failing because of her. she didn't want to know they were fighting over her.

she didn't want to know or else her guilt would build up more.

and god was it building up fast.

tears starts streaming down her face and soon she had muffled sounds of her own.

all she wanted was for the pain to end but of course she knew it would never do so.

a/n: filler chap!!! i know it's short and i know this is just a bunch of nonsense but it's whatever.
