Dawn was nestled between some of Bolin and Mako's family members as they were all around her, fixing her hair and face in the Earth Kingdom style. She laughed at one of the women and looked at their small scar in the side of her cheek. "You have a soulmate?" She asked and the girl nods her head and looked at her husband.
"We met about two years ago. Soulmates run in our family line." She explained while Dawn raised an eyebrow and looked to Mako who told her the story of his disappearing, making him forever broken.
"They do in mine as well." She breathed out, frowning at the thought of never having her own and Tu opened the door.
"I've got them! These passports should get you into the Upper Ring." Tu told them.
"Awesome! Tu, you're the best cousin a guy could have. And my other cousins as well. Yeah. Yeah, you're all the best." Bolin told everyone.
"Thanks. I know this wasn't easy." Mako told him while Dawn got up and walked over to the boys.
"It's such a shame you three must leave so soon." Yin told them.
"I wish we could stay. But if it's true the Earth Queen is forcing Air Benders into her army, we have to do something about it." Mako told her.
"I love you both. Come visit again." She said and hugged them while she turned to Dawn. "And you too, Dawn. It was so nice to have you here as well." She said while Dawn smiled and hugged the elderly woman.

The trio rushed back to the Upper Ring as Dawn jogged quickly to Korra and Asami while everyone was panting. "Mako! Bolin! Dawn!" Asami yelled.
"You're okay. Where have you been?" Korra asked while Dawn held her hands to her knees.
"We chased Kai... train... slipped away... Lower Ring... slept in trash pile... met our family... Grandma, tears... Mako scarf... Earth Queen lying." Bolin finished as he fell to the ground.
"Can you interrupt that?" Asami asked.
"The Earth Queen has been keeping the Air Benders as a hidden army." Dawn explained.
"She was lying. I knew it! I swear, the next time I see her..." Korra stated while Asami stopped her.
"It's the Queen." Asami muttered and they watched as she approached the house.
"Quick, Pabu, shirt!" Bolin yelled as Pabu jumped in and squeaked. "I know. Sorry. Kinda sweaty." Bolin stated while Dawn crossed her arms at the Queen.
"Good, you're here. Gun, tell them the news." The Queen stated.
"We've received word from the Yang Province. There have been reports of Air Benders there." Gun told them.
"Wonderful, isn't it? It's the very thing you've been looking for." The Queen stated.
"Thank you. That is just the most wonderful news, ever. Yay." Korra said while Dawn scoffed.
"And we will looking into it." Dawn stated.
"So I assume you and your..." she paused to look over everyone in disgust. "Friend here will be leaving immediately. Ahhh, ah-choo!" She sneezed and Dawn covered her laughter. "Ah-choo! Ahhh, ah-choo! Is there an animal in my presence?" She asked Gun while grabbing tightly onto his collar.
