The Coronation
Dawn watched the two boys as Prince Wu was going on and on about his coronation plans and the girl giggled while Mako just had his blank face. The Fire Nation Princess felt him lean down next to her and he smirked against her ear. "You're not going to be this extreme for your coronation, will you?" He asked softly, the girl feeling good bumps rise against her skin as she turned to face him and look down at his lips.
"No, but that's only because I won't be the one who gets the Fire Lord title. That would be my Sea Navy brother." She smiled, looking back up at the boy's two colored eyes and they started to lean in as Mako sighed.
"I thought he asked you to take his place?" He asked softly.
"I declined. I had other plans." She whispered, letting their lips barely touch as Prince Wu cut them off by pulling Dawn away from Mako. "Hey!" She yelled, her cheeks blushing as Prince Wu started covering her with feathered boas.
"So then the crowds are gathered, all excited to see my coronation, when all of a sudden, these boulders come rolling through. And guess what pops out of 'em? Earth Bender dames! These gals start banging the boulders like drums and sing the sing of my royal lineage. It's the most dynamite six-hour show you've ever seen in your life." Prince Wu planned out, placing more decorations in the girl's hands as she struggled to hold it all and Mako raised an eyebrow at the boy.
"Shouldn't you be getting ready to- - I don't know- - rule the whole nation?" Mako asked the Prince as Dawn nods her head.
"Exactly what I was thinking. Your going to need to know more about politics than what color feather goes with your eyes." She teased while dropping the stuff and Prince Wu gasped.
"Those were pure turtle-duck feathers! You should be thanking me for even thinking about using a Fire Nation symbol in my coronation." He pouted while grabbing the boa in his hand and wrapping it around his neck. "Now, now, now. Don't get yourself in a tizzy. I'll have ministers for all that. No sir, Mako. When we get to Ba Sing Se, it'll just be two kooky pals livin' the life!" Prince Wu said and Dawn looked to Mako with wide eyes.
"Yay..." Mako said sadly as he looked at Dawn who had questions.
"What does he mean 'when we get to Ba Sing Se'?" She asked, squinting her eyes at the man.
"I was going to tell you." Mako muttered and Dawn scoffed as President Riako walked over.
"Getting excited for your big day?" The President asked.
"Does a platypus bear poop in- - hey!" And Prince Wu caught the workers who were setting up his coronation were not following his instructions.
"President Riako, why does my boyfriend tell me he's going to Ba Sing Se? After this hassle, I told you he was meant to be with me in the Fire Nation or Republic City. Not in some palace with a needy sixteen year old." She growled and crossed her arms as Riako sighed.
"Dawn, there are still complications. Some of which you should be fixing." He said as the girl kept her glare on him.
"You can't put bleachers there! There won't be enough room for the dance of the badgermoles! Look, it's gonna go like this." Prince Wu said while humming along to a tune and showing off his dance moves.
