Part 2

I was inside the classroom fiddling with my phone.

I was checking the Class Points for each class.

Class Points:

Class A                      850 points

Class B                      690 points

Class C                      480 points

Class D                      390 points

The last special exam had proved to be very difficult for us and fighting against Class A resulted in our complete annihilation. I could have done something about it but I don't want to disturb my peaceful life by showing more of my cards.

The classroom which used to hustle and bustle with noise was dead silent today.

It was because it was Friday, that meant that today we will be getting a new special exam. And everyone had prepared mentally for whatever unreasonable test the school may throw at us. Every student is growing day by day. Seeing how the students have changed I have slowly and slowly come to understand what the true goal of this school is.

Everyone was ready for the new special exam.

"It seems like everyone is here. That's good."

After taking our attendance, Chabashira worked the tablet on her hand to turn on the monitor.

It didn't take that long for her to get ready. She switched to a white screen and then turned back to us.

"I will now explain to you about this next special exam."

She looked over all of the class and a smile of admiration appeared on her face.

"This time's special test, what to say, I don't understand a bit myself, why such an exam is being conducted, but anyway........."

What she said shocked us all. A special exam which even she, despite being a teacher, didn't understand. Everyone was worried but they kept their cool. They have walked through thick and thin so this wasn't going to make them waver.

Each one of them waited for her to continue, with feelings of anticipation and anxiety.

"This is like a riddle game. Each class would be given a certain five-digit code. The classes would be given two hints to find what the code for the other classes would be. If a class manages to find the class code for the other classes within the allotted time they would be awarded 50 CP."

"Sensei?"

"What's wrong, Ike?"

"You just said within the allotted time, right? Does that mean that we would be given certain days of time for this special exam?"

"Yes. The exam would commence from the coming Tuesday and would end on Monday which means almost about a week of time."

A week of time, just for finding out a simple riddle. That was one heck of a time.

"Also, each class would have to select a leader."

"A leader?"

Asked Ike.

"Yes, each class would select a leader. The leader's role will be to submit what the code for the other classes is. And let me make it clear, no one except the leader can submit the answer."

Everyone kept silent for a bit.

"But why is a leader selected just for submitting the answer? It seems quite unreasonable."
