"So, did you all get that in your damn minds?"

Sitting on the podium inside his classroom, Ryuen spoke.

That wasn't a request. This was an order; an absolute one at that by the tyrannical leader of Class B.

There was no way that any would oppose Ryuen's decision and orders. After all, they didn't want the shit beaten out of them.

"Hey, Ryuen, what are you playing at?"

Katsuragi, who was now a student of Class B, spoke.

Although there had been few complications at first, now most of them had accepted him as a member of their class. Katsuragi was a determined and righteous man. So, he diligently worked for his class, i.e. Class B, and had obtained results. So, because of his efforts and good-naturedness, he was being accepted by the rest of the classmates, slowly but surely.

"Kuku. Don't sweat the small stuff. Just sit back and enjoy."

Katsuragi knew what sort of man Ryuen was. And from the way he answered his question, he knew very well that Ryuen had no intention of explaining any further. But Katsuragi wasn't someone to give up so easily.

"You just said that this exam had a tremendous risk for the leader. So, that is why the rest of your classmates are ready to follow your instructions. But before that, you have to explain, what that tremendous risk is?"

"It might be expulsion, you know?"

He answered nonchalantly.

"Wha?!"

Katsuragi's voice was stuck in his throat. And that was the situation of the whole class as well.

"W-What do you mean by expulsion, Ryuen-san?"

Ishizaki who was standing beside him asked him while stammering.

"Don't worry. Kuku."

He just wrapped his arms around Ishizaki and let out his usual haughty laugh.

"You are probably just thinking that this is getting interesting, aren't you?"

Ibuki spoke. She knew the nature of this tyrant named Ryuen. He will not leave things be if it piques his interest. He would do anything to keep his life enjoyable.

"Yeah, you are right. But it will get more interesting when the leaders of all the classes would be at the same table."

"Leaders of all the classes at the same table? What do you mean by that?"

"Yeah, yeah. The leader of all the classes would be having a meeting of the sort to discuss about this exam sometime soon. And I am not lying."

"If you say the leader of all the classes, then that includes Sakayanagi as well, right? Do you think she will come?"

Katsuragi had spent more than a year with her. Although they couldn't be called friends or classmates, Katsuragi knew that Sakayanagi would never agree without any major advantage or benefit to her. That was why he had posed that question to Ryuen.

"She will come."

Katsuragi had to narrow his eyes because of the confidence his voice carried.

"For all the leaders to come together, the leader of one of the classes will have to take the initiative. Don't tell me you will be the one?"

somewhat satirically, Ibuki asked.

"Kuku. Do you really think I would stoop to doing something like that?"

"No, never."

The answer came almost immediately. Ibuki knew that Ryuen would never do something like that. So, the question was who would be the one to take the initiative.

"So, who would be the one to take the initiative and propose the idea of a discussion between the leaders of all the classes?"

"Either Ichinose or Horikita."

"Horikita?"

Ibuki couldn't help but narrow her eyes.

She knew that Ichinose could be the one to take the initiative.

She was a good-natured student. And if this actually had the risk of expulsion of the leader as Ryuen had said, she would no doubt try to convince everyone to co-operate with each other, even if it meant saving someone from an enemy class.

But Ibuki couldn't think of any reason why Horikita could also be the one to initiate this.

Horikita was a prideful woman. She would definitely agree if Ichinose proposed this idea if it had some kind of benefit to her but there was no reason why she would herself try to arrange the type of meeting Ryuen had just mentioned.

Horikita was smart and it wasn't though as she couldn't think of a way to get through with this. On top of that, there was him.

If Horikita really needed help then she would rather seek help from him than engage with other classes. And Ibuki knew what kind of monster he was. And she believed, no, she was sure that he would be able to do something about this.

So, why exactly had Ryuen said her name?

Ibuki couldn't grasp the meaning behind Ryuen's words.

Ryuen on the other hand was enjoying the look on Ibuki's face.

He knew all too well, what she was thinking.

He had said the name Horikita, and there was a reason why. The exact reason Ibuki was looking for but couldn't find it no matter how she tried thinking about it.

But Ryuen knew why exactly Horikita would try to arrange for this meeting.

It was because she was at risk of getting expelled, not to mention it was someone of her own class, and someone that no other students would believe would do such a thing; that she was such a woman.

The bottom line here was that he was looking forward to how things were gonna play out.
