"Come in."

"Please excuse me."

"Please sit down Kikyou-chan."

Nagumo pointed at the empty seat in front of him and urged her to sit.

"So, what business did you have with me today, Nagumo-senpai."

"Why the rush? You don't like my company?"

With a playful smile, Nagumo asked.

"No way. It's just that I have promised my friends to hang out with them. I don't want to keep them waiting."

"Okay, then let me make it quick. Work with me for this special exam."

She narrowed her eyes and smiled.

"Heh. That's quite a thing to say to someone whom you pushed away once, isn't it?"

"Ah. I am really sorry for that time. But believe me, I want your help so badly this time around!"

He clapped his hands together and slightly lowered his head.

"Do you think I will agree? If so, then you are completely wrong Nagumo-senpai."

"Yeah, yeah. You will agree for sure."

"Then please let me hear what exactly do you want my help for?"

When Nagumo said with utter confidence that she would be willing to help, she suddenly got curious so as to what exactly he wanted. It still wasn't sure that she would help. I would think about that after hearing him out is what she thought and waited for Nagumo to continue.

"You see, I want to expel a certain someone and that person just happens to be from Class D, so I thought you would be best suited for that work."

"You want me to expel someone from my own class? Are you being serious here, Nagumo-senpai? There is no way I would betray my friends and expel them."

"The one you have to expel is Horikita Suzune."

Kushida who was about to stand up from her seat had to sit back again after hearing that name.

"You want to expel her as well right, Kikyou-chan~"

It was true but it wasn't necessary for her to tell that to Nagumo.

"Why do you think that?"

"Don't waste your energy trying to play around. You can't lie to me. I know everything, you see. You have tried to expel her back when you were still first years and for that you even didn't hesitate to seek help from your enemy classes. That is proof enough that you want her expelled at any cost. So, I am sure you would help me with this."

Kushida was a bit amazed by how he knew about almost everything about almost each students in this school.

"This means I can't continue to play the ignorant now, eh? I have my own reasons but why do you want to expel her, President Nagumo?"

Kushida deliberately used the word President. She had a past that she wanted to protect and that was why she wanted to get her expelled but why did the President of this school want her expelled? As far as she could remember, he didn't study at the same school that the two of them attended, to have some sort of connection.

"This is a fair question but do I need to explain here?"

"Yeah, absolutely. After all, whether or not I would agree to cooperate depends on your answer."

Actually, she had already decided to cooperate but she wanted to know the reason why he wanted to expel her. It was just in her nature that she wanted to know any secrets that other people had.

"It is just my first step towards a bigger goal."

Nagumo was talking about expelling someone as the first step towards a bigger goal that he had in his mind and that bigger goal was definitely something big and grand.

"Can you tell me what your bigger goal is?"

"Crushing Ayanokoji Kiyotaka."

Kushida was taken aback by that name that was brought up abruptly.

"Ayanokoji had some connections with Horikita-senpai. I wanted to fight against him but he isn't here anymore so my goal here is to crush that boy on whom he had placed his trust. And I have also come to a realization that he is no ordinary person. So, that is why, I would first get rid off his pawns and crush him completely."

That definitely was a big and grand goal that he had in his mind.

Kushida knew that Ayanokoji wasn't an average high school student. He was more than what he let on. Kushida had tried to expel him as well. She even had a powerful ally in the form of Yagami but even then she wasn't able to achieve her goal. She had known that he wouldn't be any easy opponent but she also hadn't thought that he would be that tough. The word amazing wasn't even enough to describe his immense abilities. It was downright monstrous. 

After failing spectacularly, she had given up. But now, she had found an ally, someone with the title of Student Council President, who had the same goal as her.

"Is that so. Then what exactly do I have to do?"

Nagumo, understanding that she had agreed to cooperate, couldn't help but smile.

"In this exam, those who are elected as the leaders, if their identity is leaked, that is to say, if someone manages to guess their names, they would be expelled. It is one of the rules of this special exam which only the leaders know."

"So, you want me to submit her name as the leader and get her expelled?"

She remembered Horikita saying that expulsion might be a possible risk but it was true after all.

"No, no, no. If someone from her own class were to do that it would bring suspicions. So, ask for some one else from a different class to do that for you. And I believe that it would be an esay feat for someone like you."

After deliberating for a while, she stood up from her seat and spoke to the President.

"Nagumo-senpai, I am willing to cooperate but I have one condition."

"Condition?"

Nagumo raised his brows after hearing her say that.

"Please let me be a part when you go after Ayanokoji-kun."

Nagumo couldn't contain his laughter and burst out laughing.

"Hahahahahahaha~ You are an inetersting woman, aren't you? Why not? Please be my guest!"

In this special exam, she would be able to expel Horikita and she would also be able to expel Ayanokoji if she were to work together with him.

"I look forward to working with you, Kikyou-chan."

"Me too, Nagumo senpai."

Nagumo extended his hand and Kushida reached out and grabbed it and shook it firmly.
