"Good morning, Ayanokoji-senpai."

With a bright and cheerful smile, Nanase greeted me on my way to the school.

"Good morning, Ayanokoji-senpai~"

Standing beside Nanase, Ichika spoke.

"Good morning. You guys are getting along well."

"Seems so."

Although they were from different classes, I have seen them hanging around together often.

"By the way, did you receive the gift that we sent you?"

"Oh, that. Yes. Thank you."

I remember seeing a bag that contained two cute small boxes in the mailbox on my birthday.

"Hmm?"

Ichika gestured to me with her hand to come closer. I inched a little closer to her and lowered my head so she could whisper.

"I wanted to give it to you in person then thought that it would be bad for me to interrupt your sex, so I decided to leave it outside."

Scary. What is she, an esper?

Although she wasn't exactly right, we did spend the night together.

"Yo, Ayanokoji-senpai."

After a while, Housen approached us and called out to me.

"Too bad that we don't have inter-grade exams. This totally sucks. I wanna fight with ya as fast as possible. Damn it!"

He was pumped up and frustrated. Ever since the uninhabited island test, every time he met me, he would say me the same thing. He had an intense desire to fight me. I was actually very glad that we don't have more inter-grade special examinations. If not I would have had to face off against this guy.

"Please excuse us, Ayanokoji-senpai. Housen-kun, I have something important to discuss with you so, please come with me."

Nanase then took the two of them along with her.

I watched them as they left. Honestly, I felt that these three would make a good trio.

"Yo, Ayanokoji. Ya all fine and kicking, huh?"

After the three of them left, Ryuuen approached me.

He was alone and walking like a monarch. Yeah, I have to admit, he definitely had that air around him.

"Ignorance, huh? It's true after all that the strong have no time for the weak, kuku."

I didn't have any such intentions. He cut me before I could even speak, so you couldn't blame me for that.

"But what a coincidence!"

"Coincidence? What are you talking about?"

"I am talking about our birthdays. Ishizaki told me earlier that you also had your birthday on the 20th. What a coincidence, don't ya think?"

"I think the same."

"I am sorry about this time but please look forward to your birthday next year. I'mma give you the best present ever."

"I will look forward to it then."

The way in which Ryueen said those words, I clearly understood what he meant. He would be coming at me at full force, trying to completely crush me.

I guess I would need to make sure not to get expelled until then. I am actually excited to see how much he would be able to grow till then.

While we were talking, I saw a certain female student from my class walking towards the school. She was Kushida Kikyou. She was not alone. It wouldn't be that surprising to see her walk to school with someone regardless of the class or the school year, it made me suspicious for some reason. After all, the student who was walking with Kushida was a student from Class A. His name was Yanagi if I remember correctly.

Ryuuen also noticed her and soon he smiled, smelling that something interesting was going to happen.

"Kikyou, huh? Seems like she is up to something interesting again."

Any other student wouldn't have been able to say that if they were to see Kushida with him. Given her benevolent nature, it wasn't surprising in the least. But Ryueen knew what sort of woman Kushida was. So, he would definitely find that something was fishy.

But, anyway, things are going a bit south now. What are you going to do Horikita?

Horikita was obstinate in trying to win over Kushida. To that end, she would do everything to gain her trust. And that is exactly why she would suffer a loss. She should accept the fact that she can't win Kushida with such childish beliefs. But no matter what she wasn't going to listen to me. And because of that, she wouldn't take action that may break the trust she was trying to build, although there wasn't any, to begin with, and that would end up being the cause of her downfall.

So, I think I would need to do something about her in my own way, huh?

"Heh. You are thinking something interesting, aren't you?"

Ryuuen had been observing me this whole time. Although I believe that I haven't shown any expression on my face, he had managed to smell my intentions, like a hound.

"Lemme in the fun, 'kay, Ayanokoji!"
