Allison's POV
~
We did our biology assignment that was given earlier. While working on it, we also had conversations regarding the situation earlier and we gave Jonathan some advice. He planned on asking his parents for advice but it was risky, his parents might get mad. Let alone the fact that he's the only child but if he wants to take the risk, it's up to him.
And after that, we finally finished our assignment and we were about to go home. Jonathan's mom was waiting for him outside the campus. We were all scared and worried for him.
"I wish you the best of luck." I faced him with a worried look. "If ever your parents kick you out of the house, we have guest rooms." I joked, but seriously.
"Oh, Jonathan." Amora grabbed his shoulder, fake crying. "You're always welcome at ours."
"You're our best friend. We will all be here for you if ever your parents kick you out." Aristria wiped a tear. I tried so hard not to laugh. Jonathan's reaction is priceless. "Amelia, it's your turn to say goodbye now." Aris gave way for Amelia but she refused and went along with the act. She just waved and covered her mouth. 'These guys are really something else.'
"Stop scaring me, dumbasses. Now, I'm having second thoughts if I should go home or not." His hands were shaking. "See you guys tomorrow. Maybe. Maybe not." Then he disappeared into his mom's car.
"I really wish his parents won't kick him out." I sighed.
"We hope so too," Amora said.
Then they all went home one by one. I didn't really want to go home so I just walked around. There was a playground near the school, so I went there. But I saw someone familiar sitting on the swing, looking at her feet. She was in deep thoughts. I decided to approach her and then she looked up to me and gave a weak smile.
"Hey," I gave her a small smile and took the other swing beside her. "Are you okay?" I asked even though I know she's not.
"Yeah, I just..." She was about to continue her sentence but she shook her head. "Anyway, what are you doing here?"
"I felt like I needed to take a walk," I said. "What about you? What are you doing here?"
"I needed some time to think. Something came up and I don't know how to handle it." She sighed.
"I hope you'll figure something out soon." Then there was silence between us. We stayed quiet for minutes, but it wasn't awkward. "You want to like...Walk home together?" I stood up and she flashed a smile as she nodded.

"So, wait. You're telling me that you actually didn't show up on your date?" She laughed and I nodded. "That's cruel."
