Cadence's Perspective

It was one in the afternoon. Biology class. I looked through the window beside me. The weather was cold, and it seemed like it was about to rain... Again. Oh well, complaining won't do much for me either. Classes were about to start, and I couldn't help but look at the door to see if she comes in or not.

Someone's late.

I didn't see her earlier this morning. Could she be absent? She wouldn't skip for no reason so something must have happened. I didn't receive any messages from her since last night either.

The teacher had arrived, and I just sighed in disappointment.

"I'm sorry I'm late class, I had just finished talking with the school's counselor, informing me that Ms. Matthews won't be joining us today." She said as she set down her laptop on her desk.

I raised a brow.

"Why?" one of my classmates asked.

"I heard she had caught a cold and a fever. But I'm sure she will be okay. So, let's start?" Our teacher sighed.

I could tell she was rather disappointed. Allison was her favorite student after all.

I was trying to pay attention, but I heard fumbling beside me. I turned, only to see Jonathan sneaking his phone out and showing a picture of Ally sleeping. She looked so cute, and I chuckled.

"Stalker," I whispered, "Where did you get that?"

"I took it, we actually went to see her earlier at lunchtime, but she was asleep. She has been sleeping since this morning," he whispered back.

The teacher glanced at us, so we zipped our mouths. Then he started again, "You should go pay her a visit."

"What? No, I'll only be an inconvenience." I turned my gaze back in front.

"Just so you know, Allison acts quite like a child when she's sick. She's needy. I think she'll be needing her girlfriend to take care of her. Don't you want to see that side of her?" He stated.

My cheeks reddened at the thought, I tried to ignore him, "Shut up, let's talk about this later."

Allison being needy? Now that's a sight to see.

I didn't need him to convince me to visit her. I was already planning to before he told me. And so, I couldn't help but distract myself with schoolwork until the remaining minutes of the class ended.

I put all my stuff back in my locker and searched for Jonathan. And to my luck, I saw him, but he was talking to...

Oh my God. Antoine?

I squinted my eyes, hiding behind a bush. It seemed like they were flirting. And since I didn't want to intervene, I looked for Amora instead.

"Amora, hey."

She took a deep breath before talking, "I know what you're trying to ask me. You're definitely asking me if I'll visit Allison, am I right? Well, the answer to that is no. It is an opportunity for you to go and see her. Alone. Besides! We already visited earlier, so this time, it's your turn."

I blinked twice, "Oh, um," That just left my jaw hanging, "Yes, you're indeed right, but how did you know?"

"It was just a gut feeling, sweetheart. Now go!" She gave me two thumbs up before switching her attention to the guy she was talking to.
