~Spock's POV~

I woke up feeling exhausted and extremely hot. I only put on my work pants and ate some breakfast, after that, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I grumbled. The door opened and in entered an energized (Y/N). Once she entered and saw me, her face went tomato red with embarrassment. All negative emotions were replaced with love and happiness.

"O-Oh! I-I'm sorry! I'll go!" She stuttered out flustered.

"No, it is quite alright, I was feeling extra heated that's it. Besides, you'll be seeing more than just my torso tomorrow." I purred, making her grow even more red and making me chuckle.

"What's so funny!' She pouted, still red-faced.

"I just find it adorable when you get flustered. Anyways, was there anything you needed?" I asked with a sly smile.

"Um- no, I just wanted to see how you were doing before I headed to work, and from the looks of it, you're doing really well!" She smiled.

"Naturally, seeing you makes me feel like nothing could be wrong." I flirted. Her face kept getting redder and redder and I could tell she was trying her best to hold back any embarrassing noises of fluster. I grinned at the sight of this and felt my heart flutter. I wrapped my arms around her, and felt her face against my chest.

"I do wish you didn't have to go to work." I whimpered slightly.

"I know, but I have a responsibility towards the ship."

"Well, that's a good reason, but I have to tell you something that I've forgotten to tell you the other day."

"Oh?"

"Well, It is traditional for the mates to marry, or if they already are, to recite their vows right before the ritual." I explained. She looked up at me pale faced and aghast. My heart sank at her look. "Is this a problem?" I asked nervously.

"I-I mean, we've only known each other for l-like um- a month? A-and w-well it's um- a b-bit early for human st-standards bb-but if this is tradition then um- sure!" She stuttered out flustardly as she slowly gained control of her speech. I chuckled lightly and let her go and slipped my hands into hers, I could feel her anxiety pump through her.

"If it makes you feel better, there is a quick and easy way to divorce with Vulcans, so you shouldn't worry. You can think of your response for today, and come back tonight, If yes, I will teach you the vows, and if no, we will continue to date after the Pon Farr ritual. Does that sound alright?"

"Um- yeah! That sounds good." She replied.

"Alright, well I'll let you head to work." I stated as I crossed my index and middle fingers with hers as I let go of her hands. She gave me a small kiss on the lips and began to take her leave.

"I'll see you later." She called out to me.

"I will see you after work." I replied. After she left, I began to play the piano and soon enough, I heard another knock on my door. Slightly annoyed, I answered the door to find the captain waiting for me.

"Hello Spock, you are looking rather comfortable." He noted with a teasing sneer.

"Captain, I was warmer than usual when I woke up and decided that wearing a shirt would be rather uncomfortable." I responded with an eye roll.

"Alright, on another note, Bones and I are going down with you, right?" He questioned.

"Yes, you two are my closest friends." I replied.

"Alright, you've informed (Y/N), right?" He reminded me. That was another thing I forgot to do, tell (Y/N) what the ritual was. Hopefully, being the intelligent human she is, she would look it up herself. Now this situation put me in what humans called, a real pickle.
