~Your POV~
You wake up and rub the exhaustion away from your eyes. You felt a warm body shift besides your own and tensed up in shock. Looking beside you, you find a peacefully sleeping Spock resting against you. You began to recall the events of last night and slowly got out of the bed, trying your best not to wake him, but to no prevail, he stirred awake.
"Hello, (Y/N)." He mumbled.
"Good morning, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." You apologized.
"There is no need to apologize since I was about to wake up." He stated as he got out of bed.
"Oh yeah, we usually wake up around the same time, don't we?" You chuckle.
. "Yes, also, I have a special outfit for you. The temperature is warmer than what you're used to, so I highly suggest wearing it." He insisted as he changed into his uniform.
"Oh?"
"Yes, my mother sent it here when she got the message I sent about how I was courting you. She stated that you should wear it for this occasion." He then pulled out a hooded light blue dress. It was flowy and didn't seem very constrictive.
"Oh! Thank you, I'll go to my quarters and change."
"I will meet you outside of your quarters once you've finished." He replied. You nodded and went to your quarters to change. The dress covered you head to feet, and your theory about it not being constrictive was correct. You exited your quarters, and just like he promised, Spock was waiting for you.
"Shall we get going, (Y/N)?" He asked with a touch of nervous excitement.
"Of course, also- um- could you hold onto my arm again on the transporter? I'm still a bit scared of it..." You asked, embarrassed of your silly fear.
"If that's what makes you happy, then I shall."
"Thanks." You smiled as you took his arm. The two of you made your way to the transporter room and was greeted by Kirk and Bones.
"Well, look who finally made it!" Bones greeted grumpily..
"It is a pleasure to see you too, doctor.." Spock sassed slightly.
"Alright, let's not get into a fight on our first officer's big wedding day!" Kirk teased and reminded. A lump of nervousness formed inside your throat at that reminder. You've read that if Vulcans no longer love each other then they divorce quickly and without emotion- what if that happened to you?
Your hand was given a small squeeze and looked at Spock. His eyes held worry within the chocolate brown swirls of his irises and you gave him a reassuring smile to tell him that you were alright. That look he gave you washed away all of your worries as you stepped onto that transporter, the only thing that scared you now was the transporter.
Once more that fuzzy feeling spread throughout your body like a wildfire and you reappeared on the hot, desert planet named Vulcan. Nearby, was a small house, most likely for you and Spock once the ceremony ended. In front of you, was a sort of small stadium surrounded by a barrier of rock formations with two formations, one had no one blocking it while the other had what you assumed to be the people that would lead you in and Priestess T'pau.
"Do you know all of the steps from here?" Spock whispered into your ear as he slipped his hand slowly out of your own.
"Yes, I have to go with the priestess, correct?"
