Monday Morning

Alexandria’s POV

I called in today because I wasn’t feeling to well and because I did this, Joshua did the same.

He said it was because he wanted to make sure that I was okay, but I think it was because of the fight that happened Saturday night.

“Are you sure you don’t want to go to the doctor?” Joshua asked me for the 100th time today.

“Yeah, I’m fine. It’s probably the food from Saturday.”

“It’s two days later. You were fine yesterday.”

“You know what, fine. I will call my doctor and make an appointment. Okay.”

“Okay. Love you.” He said smiling.

“Love you too.”

I called my doctor and was able to get an appointment for today. When me and Joshua got there, I went through the usual before talking to the doctor. She told me to pee in a cup and when they got the results back, she said the one thing I didn’t think she would say.

“You’re pregnant.”

“Seriously?”

“Yes, you were experiencing morning sickness. It’s going to happen throughout pregnancy.”

“Okay. Well thank you.”

“You’re welcome. Goodbye.”

When we good home, I was excited but also scared.

When I thought I was pregnant days ago, I was not happy.

“I know you don’t think that we are ready, but I think we are. I love you and you love me and we are going to be great parents. Okay.”

“Okay. I love you too.”

Joshua’s POV

I’m so happy she’s pregnant, I know that she is scared, but I’m not and I can’t wait.

“Do you want me to make you something to eat?” I offered her.

“Sure. Can you even cook?”

“Uh yeah I can cook.” I’m lying, I can’t cook.

“Okay.”

I was trying to make some spaghetti, but I don’t think it’s suspposed to look nasty and mushy.

“Okay umm Alex, dinner’s ready.”

“Coming!” I hear her yell.

When she came in I told her to sit down and I fix the plates. She’s going to think I’m trying to poison her with the way this food looks.

“Okay here’s the food.”

“Oh. This umm looks interesting.”

When she tasted it, she looked like she wanted to throw up.

“It’s horrible isn’t?”

“Oh no Joshua. It’s not nasty, it’s just…no it’s nasty.”

“I know.”

“How about I make us some more food and you go and sit down?”

“Okay.”

After she made the food, we ate and laid down together.

The doorbell rang and I got up to answer it.

When I opened the door, my mom was standing there and she looked pissed, she walked into my house and started running towards Alex.

I couldn’t get there in time before she started punching and kicking Alex. I grabbed my mom and asked her why would she come into my home and start beating up Alex.

“She’s cheating on you.”

“Mom come on.”

“She is. She is a slut.”

“How could she cheat on me when I’m with her every day?”

“She is a cheating slut and-“

“Mom please leave. I don’t care about whatever you’re talking about. Get the fuck out!”

“Fine. I just don’t want you to be with this trash, but if you want to ruin your life then so be it.”

With that she left and I looked at Alex who was sitting on the couch with blood running down her face and I went to get the first-aid kit and cleaned her up.

“I’m not a cheater Joshua.”

“I know baby.”

“You still love me right?”

“Of course baby. I’m so in love with you.”
