Alexandria’s POV

I started planning for the wedding because Joshua didn’t want to wait until after the baby was born.

“Joshua who do you want to come to the wedding?”

“Ummm…I don’t know. My family already said they aren’t coming when I called them.”

“Okay. How about friends? Do you have a best man?”

“I want people from the company and my friend Derek is my best man.”

“Okay. How come I’ve never met him?”

“I wanted to wait until after I knew you weren’t leaving me.”

I started laughing because that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

“Seriously Joshua.”

“Yeah, he has this thing about him that women love. I didn’t want him to seduce you.”

“Okay,” I chuckled. “You’re so silly.”

“So what about you?”

“What about me?”

“Your family.”

“They aren’t coming.”

“Did you even ask them, call them?”

“No.”

“Okay? Don’t you want them here when the baby comes and when we get married?”

“Not really.”

“But-“

“Joshua stop pressing this issue. They wouldn’t want to see me anyways.”

“How would you know? What about the brother you used to take care of?”

“Did you really think that he would stick around after I told him that I wasn’t going to pay his bills anymore?”

“Yeah.”

“Well he didn’t.”

“I just want you to be happy.”

“Joshua I am happy they are gone and they are never going to come back. Now I have to go see the caterer about what type of food we want. Are you coming?”

“Yeah.”

During the whole car ride, Joshua was bugging me about my family and inviting them to the wedding. I don’t want them there so they aren’t getting inviting.

“Joshua?” I heard the caterer say.

“Hey Christina.”

“Why are you here?” Then she looked at me and then him.

“I’m here to talk about the food for our wedding,” he grabbed my hand.

 “Oh Okay.”

Throughout the whole time of being with the caterer, she was starign at me like I had something on my face. I really wanted to know what her problem was. We talked about what food me and Joshua wanted and what type of cake we wanted. When it was time to leave, she said bye to Joshua and not me. Rude.

“Joshua?”

“Yes.”

“Do you think that we shouldn’t be together?”

“Why do you say that?”

“Because people look at us like we look disgusting together.”

“There are some people that aren’t going to like the fact that we are together, but you just have to ignore it.”

“Maybe we shouldn’t be doing this…”

“Doing what?”

“Getting married if people hate us together.”

“Well I love you and we are getting married and we’re going to have a baby together and we are going to live happily ever after.”

I laughed.

“Maybe I’m just being crazy.”

“Yeah. I know you’re hungry, so let’s go get something to eat.”

“Okay.”

The Next Day

At the wedding, we were going to have a ceasar salad as an appetizer, fish and chicken as main dishes and sides. He was also going to make a three tier red velvet cake.

Joshua was going to invite people from his company since his family wasn’t coming and I wasn’t going to invite my family.

I hope he doesn’t ask me to invite them because they wouldn’t want to come.

Joshua’s POV

What Alex said really had me worried.

What if she didn’t want to get married? What if she cancels the wedding at the last minute because she was having second thoughts?

Hopefully she doesn’t.

By the end of the day, I was finished handing out the invitations.

“Are you excited?” Derek said.

“Yeah, but when you meet her you can’t say anything about what she used to be.”

“Okay, I think it’s cool that you are marrying a used to be stripper.”

“Why?”

“Because she’s basically your personal stripper.”

“Oh. I didn’t think about that.”

“See it’s a good thing.”

He wanted to meet her since he’s my best man so he was going to follow me home.

When we got there, she was sitting on the couch and when she saw that I had a guest, she stood up.

“Hey Joshua, who’s this?”

“This is Derek, Derek this is my fiancée Alexandria.”

They shook hands and said hi to each other.

After we ate, Derek left and she started to cleanup.

I walked behind her and kissed her on the neck and she turned around smiling.

“Joshua stop. I have to cleanup.”

“Just do it tomorrow.”

“Fine.”

I carried her bridal style into the room and sat her on the bed.

I took off her clothes and mine.

Since I couldn’t be on top of her, I laid behind her and started pumping in and out of her.

After we were finished, we were laying there and I was holding her while she slept.

I loved her so much and she is so beautiful.

“I love you Alex,” I whispered in her ear.

What Derek looks like.
