today was a full day

After Gabriela slammed the door closed, Zach turned back to the duo.

They were crying and holding each other tightly.

Zach broke into tears and hugged them tightly.

"Dadda I'm so sorry..." She sobs.

The blond just tightened the hold of her as he shook his head.

"Baby you're so strong, I've told you this." Zach mumbles.

Jack just didn't have it in him to talk.

And they stayed there for a while.

Just letting it all out.

Jack wiped all of their tears, including his own.

"Let's go to bed okay? I just wanna sleep this night away."

"My room okay? We don't want you to be triggered."

Jack nodded.

The family all walked into Zach's room and got in the small bed.

Belle was in the middle of them.

"I love you dadda...so much."

"I love you princess...and you too Z."

"I love you guys so much...im sorry for–"

"Don't be, she had to know someday..."He smiles softly.

Belle wipes her own tears and laid with her belly facing upwards.

She sighed.
" Baby don't worry...Z holds me so tightly, I forget about it while I am with him."

Zach looked at him fondly.

"Its the least I could done."

"The least was what i needed...and you've been nothing but careful and gentle with me."

"As you are with me and Bee...and I was scared of triggering you...it can be tough."

"how do you spell trig-triggering?"

The couple chuckles.

Belle always had a way of lighting the mood.

"t-r-i-g-g-e-r-i-n-g.", Jack says slowly as Belle draws the letters in the air.

"What does it mean?"

"Well some subjects are very sensitive to be spoken about...consider my experience for an instance, it is traumatizing, even the mention of what I've gone through makes me shiver...meaning that the simple mention is a triggering thing for me." Jack explains quickly.

"Okay those were some very big words spoken too fast."

They laugh.

"What your dad is tryna say is...imagine that i ate the last candy. you'll remember it...and whenever I mention the name of the candy, you'll remember that i had the last one."

"So if I mention the candy it could be bad for dad?"

"Exactly...so even though it shouldn't be exactly a secret...you can't mention it just like that."

"What do you mean not exactly a secret?"

"I mean it in a way that, if tell someone if you don't like the way they talk or touch you, you should tell someone you trust.."

Belle nods, understanding it loud and clear.

"Mom didn't touch your princess parts did she?"Jack asks quietly.
